If those handles come off you either got to be chewing on them in your sleep or someones messing with your equipment. These types of handles do n't just slip on and off easy. I have replaced one workout a week with the workout book included with this kit. It provides cardio, strength and endurance training all at once. When done properly, including the `` active rest '' excercies between sets, this has limitless potential. You get full range of motion and you are only limited by your effort. I used to run a lot when I was younger just getting out of college, but then I stopped a little because my legs would get sore easy. I started reading up on jumping rope as a comparative exercise that has the same, if not better, benefits as running in less time. I saw a some other jump ropes that were somewhat bland and cheap looking, and then came across the weighted rope. It's been working like a charm. It is a little tangly/tight initially because of the material, but after a couple uses, it's fine. I sweat a lot when I workout, so my hands sometimes get slick and the handles could use a little more grip. Hopefully once my body gets more acclimated, it wo n't be an issue.

I chose the Lifeline rope because the weight is n't in the handles, its in the rope, which I wanted to compare to the weighted handle style. Its a different weorkout and a better one in my opinion. I 've had this rope for 9 months( 3 months of heavy use), and it's still looking great!( Just a little fuzziness with normal wear and tear). I chose the large diameter, dry treatment, and 70m length for more durability and versatility, which has worked out great. It was easy to use right out of the package without too many twists. I 've washed it 3 times with water and once with rope wash, and the middle mark is still visible- maybe a little faded, but I do n't plan to re- mark it yet. I like the color as well- visible enough without being a jarring neon. I mostly climb single pitch sport routes with a grigri belay, but I 've also used it for multipitch, trad, and rappelling with an ATC, and it has worked well with all my other equipment.

We have been using this rope for over 2 years now, mostly on the east coast of Canada and US, in about every possible conditions except for snow. The dry treatment has been very effective in keeping the rope clean and avoiding to pick up too much debris. It feel great to handle and could be used by anyone. I would recommend to rope for its durability mostly, but on the other hand, it means it is on the heavy side, which makes it a little less pleasant to carry around.

Fantastic rope and durability. I buy new rope every year and this one has not disappointed. I went with the larger 9. 8 vs 9. 5 and it ’s great for Trad days and normal wear and tear. If you are heavy and belayer a lighter individual just need to ensure they are really good with catches. The 9. 8 has a little less elasticity than the smaller ropes and could create harder catches. But no issues with good belayers knowing how to catch. Rope has stayed cleaner then other classic crag ropes and doesn ’ t seem to collect dirt as easily. Overall would recommend.

I got this as my first rope, and I must say it was the correct decision. I have used it on all my climbing adventures, and I have n't noticed any damage through numerous falls. It's been rubbed up against rocks and has maintained the integrity of it's sheath. It's a rope I found just works with belay devices, and does n't have any of the annoying characteristics of some ropes; it does n't slide through or require excessive weight to let slack out.

This rope is extremely durable and reliable. I 've used it on lots of single and multi pitch routes on granite rock and it shows little sign of wear. I love having the dry rope over the regular crag rope; you 're always prepared for the weather. The first few uses the rope can feel really stiff but that works itself out rather easily. Great for anyone climbing outside.

[ Took the new rope out for her maiden voyage on a 4 pitch sport climb in Leavenworth and as expected, the bi- pattern feature was a delight for rappelling- being able to find where the middle was, and also pulling the right side of the rope for midway rappel transitions. The rope handled great otherwise. I was worried based on photography that the color of the rope would be too dark and pattern would not be super discernible, but in the bright outdoor light, it's a lot easier to see the difference.
