I was looking for a new 3 wood and stumbled upon one of these with a demo sticker on it, but had ZERO ball marks on the face. Turns out it was actually a 5 wood( 18° loft), but for$ 140 and hitting it 235 yards with about a 10 yard miss left or right consistently, I decided that I had to add it to the bag. I was originally looking at a stealth 2 to match my driver, but had trouble with not hitting a ridiculous snap hook with that, even after switching shaft flexes. My only complaint would be that no one could find the head cover for it, but for$ 20 on Amazon I was able to get one. All in all, I am very satisfied with this club.

Historically I 've not gotten along well with fairway woods. However, not generating the speed I used to I finally decided I needed to figure it out. Do n't like large headed woods at all so was really only looking for the Tour version of the 7W. After building my own shaft for it I can surprisingly say that this fairway wood was the missing link for my game. It's transformed the top end of my bag and I actually look forward to pulling it out of the bag when the shot calls for it. I really wish they offered a Tour 9W. I 'm not sure if they 'll ever go that route but if so I will be among the first to purchase it.

First 3- 4 wood I 've been able to consistently hit off the turf too. I 'm a 25 HC, so I 'm not dropping dimes on the green, but it goes far and sets me up for a much easier approach shot, saving me stokes in the long run.

I have recently gotten fitted for the Ai Smoke Max D 3 wood. I have upgraded from my old Callaway Edge 3 wood. This club is amazing. This 3 wood is way easier to launch than my old one. The forgiveness on this club is insane. I hit the ball on the heel and it went far and straight. I would say the feel is a bit firmer and is a great feel on off center strikes. The distance on this wood is great. This wood is a great wood if you do n't know which one to buy. I would highly recommend this wood to anybody. Great job Callaway!!

Purchased 7 wood and a 9 wood in the original stealth heads. Got the 7 wood first to replace the gap between my 5 wood and 5 iron. It ’s been the perfect number between the two and so much better than I could have ever asked for out of a 3 or 4 iron. Decided to try the 9 wood out after the success with 7 wood and the 9 has been absolutely heavenly. It is such a dream I ’ ve replaced my 5 iron with it and won ’ t ever look back. I ’ ve never been great with woods or a guy that carries many of them but this has made those longer distances so much fun to hit from. Never dreamed at a high swing speed of carrying either of these but it ’s been game changing to say the least.
