Purchased new PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells( capable of expansion weights) and realized my old stand would not be large enough to fit the dumbbells if/when expansion weights are added, plus the old stand had no place to store the adder weights. This stand is built to accommodate both of those issues and works perfectly. Stand is extremely sturdy( no wiggle when I return dumbbells) and has enough room underneath to place other equipment. If I had to give one piece of critique, it would be that the adder weight holders could be just a bit deeper to more fully seat in the weights; even so, I ’ ve never had a real issue with functionality and never accidentally knocked an adder weight out of the stand. Functionality to price ratio is 100% worth it.

I 've had this stand for almost a year now. Very sturdy and have not had any problem storing my power blocks on it. I also like that there is room under the stand itself( I keep another set of dumbbells underneath). Note that I do not have the extra power block expansions( 70+ pounds), but there does appear to be plenty of room to accommodatee them, and the stand has never felt unstable in anyway with the base powerblock set.

I bought this item recently. The Allen Key( Hex Key) included in this model was one size too small and did not help in any way during assembly. It will be loose and dangerous to use unless the correct hex key is used. Constructing this item ourselves took about an hour with two people. Why is the Allen key from the manufacturer not the correct size? The height of this stand is good, but weight and stability are indeed an issue. Anyone looking to purchase this stand should greatly consider looking at the user manual and adding/purchasing the additional weights to keep it in place during use. This item was NOT on the sales floor, but rather in a shipping container outside of the shop. After owning 2 indoor home pull up/dip stations, this one is the most sturdy and stable I have owned. I have it set up outside on my concrete back yard patio and it is stable enough for what I use it for that I do n't need to bolt it down. I lined the bottom with rubber garage door weather seal. I weigh 165 lbs. and use it regularly for weighted pull ups and dips, hanging leg/knee raises, toe to bar, windshield wipers, and oblique abdominal sit ups. However, if you plan on performing any plyometric exercises on it that require you to change your grips mid- air, then you should definitely bolt it down. As for the height, I 'm 5'10 '' and it works fine for me. If you 're over 6 feet, it might seem short if you do hanging leg/knee raises or pull ups( you would have to keep your knees bent). The only minor issues I had was that the shipping box came pretty beat up and some of the pieces came with a few scratches/chips. Also, the black caps were the only pieces that did n't seem to fit `` perfectly. '' They fit okay, but they kind of pop out a little occasionally. The diameter of the pull up bar is thicker than the typical ones you find in gyms and parks, which makes it more challenging, but I consider that a good thing. Keep in mind, this product does not have bars for neutral grip pull ups. The directions were clear and assembly was easy( all of the pieces/bolts fit well, I was able to hand tighten everything at first and then used the allen key to tighten everything at the end). As the directions say, do n't tighten anything until the last step. Overall, I 'm very satisfied with the product. I no longer need to lug my pull/dip chain belt and weight vest to the park to do my workouts and I can keep it outside with taking up indoor space.

Happy with my purchase. Easy assemble. Recommend you screw it all together lightly, hang it, then tighten fully while it on door frame. Fits a whole bunch of my door frames so i can easily hang it wherever i need it. I have 2 kids under 3yrs old. So this allows me to get a workout in without leaving the kids for a long period of time. I watched a couple YouTube vids on it before buying and i am totally happy i bought it.
