The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Performance: The close- to- the- ground feel( like V1) is excellent for explosive movement, and the wider toe box is a big improvement over the cramped V2. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. My daughter is relatively new to tennis and this is her first regular sized racket. It took a little adjusting to the grip size compared to her previous kids racket and she also noticed it felt a bit heavier which was expected moving up from a kids model. She quickly got comfortable and really likes it. From an aesthetics standpoint it is a very attractive racket and feels well made.
