The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I was outside for 2 hours and my feet and calves didn ’ t get cold. I was able to walk uphill on ice and not slip. They are comfortable and require little “ break in ”. Great purchase.

I have been wearing this make Georgia boot since I was a little, I am 22 now, I work in the labor industry as a welder. This is the best most comfortable and very hardy boot. They are high quality leather, although they are comfortable out of the box, they do get more and more comfortable as you wear them. I am on my feet all day everyday so I put some Dr. Scholl ’s insoles in them to make them that much better.( I also have flat feet) One pair last me about 3- 4 years. And that is wearing them literally almost 365 days a year. As a welder I tend to not like laces and these boots are perfect for a welder except if you are needed steel toe. Overall, I owe Georgia boot this review and I am very happy to leave a great review. I ’ ve put these boots through hell, and they withstand anything you throw at them. They have been on my feet for 16+ years! Do yourself a favor and try them out!

I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. There isn ’ t a safety tow booth on the market that is more comfortable, good looking than this one. Yeah people love the moccasin toe, not I. I ’ m a round toe feller. It could also be that I am used to square toe boots, but all around they seem like a solid set of boots. The tread is good, the stitching seems tough, and the zipper on the back is a nice touch for making the boots easier to get on and off. I made the mistake of getting a half size bigger since my normal size is always a little tight with the thicker socks in the winter so theyre definitely too loose on my feet. [ These are n't boots that you can take out of the box and go for a backpacking hike, they will need broke in first. When I first put these boots on they felt great, I went for a 2 mile hike and my feet were hurting. It took me about 10 miles, 2 per day, to get to where they felt good, now I love them. These are my 4th pair of Keens, I have been wearing the Steel Toe Pittsburg for work and love them too. The wife was soo convinced that she bought a pair of low top Targhee Vent, she loves them also.

I ’ ve been wearing the Georgia Wedge over 15yrs now and prolly has become my one and only boot/shoe i wear with everything. Lol, went from Nike ’ s/Vans/Chucks to only Georgia wedge. I love them so much i have pairs for work and everyday wear. I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. That ’s jumping on shovels, kicking stuff, underwater, asphalt and so forth… as well as the Natural gas field and seems to hold up better without constant water lol i ’ ve bought up to 6 pairs in a yr bcuz all the OT I was working, but i say all this to say i never had more compliments then this boot and i ’ ve worn every brand, the quality of leather is the best and i can walk in them all day. I think I ’ ll be buried in them. You think i ’ m lying ask my wife. Lol here ’s 2 i have in my garage wit 2 in my closet. Cant wait to try the “ waterproof ” wedge ones now for work!

Through a previous job I purchased the `` Hammer '' style boots and loved them enough that now that it's my own money, I would n't spend it on anything but these boots! After a 14 hour day on my feet I was in no hurry to get them off when I got home. To me that says a mouthful, not to mention all the times I put these boots to the test( accidental of course) and and I remain in tact and never a foot injury with this boot. I 'm purchasing my 8th pair over 20 years and I 'll be back when it's time again.

i have had these boots about 3 years and the sole is about worn out now. they are extremely comfortable and do n't need much breaking in at all. Went and tried out some new boots today and mine still feel better. love these boots and will buy another pair. the one issue is that the sole is in layers and it does tend to flake off towards the end of their lifespan. amazing pair of boots and you will not be disappointed.
