The three hooks made it tough to get out in time. Luckily I was able to and the little fella was able to swim away, but I stopped using it after that. Started using fake worms and did n't catch anything else. It's very realistic looking. I 'm going to try to replace the three hooks with a single or just try to remove two of the three.

After almost 50 years of fishing in PA, VA and DE, still my favorite trout and panfish lure. I 've used different colors but yellow body with a silver blade and black with a gold blade( 1/8 th oz) seem to work the best for me in creeks and ponds. I tie a tiny barrel swivel with a clip directly on to my line( 10 lbs. braid) and attach the lure to the clip. Simple lure, casts and retrieves well, good construction. Explosive hits. Fun to use.
