I really like the option of having rechargeable and AAA. A bit more slim then prior model, strap is also a little more slim. Not sure if I like the more slim strap but seems to compliment the unit as the unit is more slim and lighter. You can tell the brightness difference from the prior 400 model. Overall great modifications to a already awesome light!

My Einstein is roughly two years old and still going strong. I own a tree service and still an active Union laborer where I work in demolition. So you have to understand any equipment or tools I use get put through hell. Im in buildings with no power holding a fire hose because we use the water to knock down the dust and my Einstein lights my way everyday all day as long as my batteries are charged. It does n't matter how wet, or cold, or hot, or hard, or long the day is it works and I love it. Hands down best headlamp I 've ever owned bar none!

[ Super bright lights up the whole room Wow this is super bright. Has over 4 setting from super high to low to lower then red for hazard. Takes for batteries run time on them is around 60 hours on low mode which is still great. Super comfortable your forehead does n't get sweaty like some other ones I have used in the past. I definitely will recommend this to anyone that works in tight spaces or for any emergency situations.

I chose this headlamp because it had the option of a rechargeable battery pack. The battery pack hasn ’ t come in the mail yet but I am very excited to use it. Just have that flexibility of AAA ’s or recharge is a huge plus for me. If I ’ m going on a long trip where I ’ ll have a solar charger with me to recharge it. This model doesn ’ t have a red mode which is kind of a bummer but I knew that when I bought it so it wasn ’ t a big deal to me.

I ’ ve used this for nightly walks and camping a few times, I frequently forget to charge my headlamps, so it ’s nice that the battery lasts so long and it charges quickly when needed. The safety switch is nice, as I ’ ve accidentally turned on my old lamp in my pack while things are jostling around. There ’s nothing worse than a dead light when it ’s really needed. My one minor complaint is the on/off button. It ’s a little tricky to find and click when it ’s on my head, and it gets a little trickier when I have gloves on. Aside from that, Im happy.
