[ I have only used this bike rack briefly, but I love it. My main goal was to have a 2 bike rack that was easy to take on and off the car. This fits the bill perfectly. Since we do n't leave the rack on our RAV4, I was looking for ease of installation and removal. I use a 3/4 '' socket to drive the bolt, so this is quick. The rack seems sturdy, even thought it has lots of plastic. The straps are easy to thread through and pull. The `` arms '' fold down easily for storage. Love it!

Took this bike rack on a 7 hour drive to the mountains. Overall, very sturdy and capable of transporting 4 bikes. I read other reviews about how the plastic straps come loose during transport. I had the same problem because I did not follow the instructions to properly secure the anti- sway straps. This is not intuitive when securing the bikes if you do n't watch a youtube video or read the instructions properly- I wondered why I had extra straps! LOL. The swing system works exactly as advertised. With four bikes mounted, I had no problems easily using the swing assembly for access to my trunk area. No cracks or damage from a 7 hour drive to our destination and 7 hours back- even at high speeds. Overall, I strongly recommend this product. After using this product and going back and reading some of the reviews, especially about straps coming loose, I clearly understand that the reason this happens is because of not adequately securing the anti- sway straps, in addition to the top straps.

I ’ ve had this rack for a few months, it stays on my car 100% of the time. Some of the negative reviews confuse me because I think the rack does exactly what it ’s designed to do. With any Thule defect issues I ’ ve had with any products, Thule has always stepped up and corrected the issue in a timely fashion, they just require proof of purchase. So far, I ’ ve only had to load 3 bikes, but it worked like a charm. I love the functionality of the swing arm, giving me access to my trunk while loaded with bikes. Our other car has the traditional Thule fold down rack. It works too except when we have bikes loaded. I would highly recommend this rack if the features meet your needs.

I have a small truck with a topper. Having bike pads between the gate and topper is a bit tight, and having roof racks on the topper is a bit high for loading and unloading, so these hitch racks are my preferred method. This one has no flaws that I 've come across and is easy to use. It is on the heavier side but I 'd prefer that not being sturdy enough. Fairly easy to setup if you get it shipped. It folds up nicely when not in use such that I do n't have to take it off. Definitely recommend.

My Jeep Gladiator has the option to place bikes over the tailgate, but when you are only 5' 5 '' this can be a challenge. As well, I recently purchased an electric bike that needed a rack to transport. The T2 Pro XTR is amazing. The ability to push up and out of the way when driving without bikes it convenient. And even more convenient, is the ability to tilt it down out of the way when opening the truck gate. It handles the weight of the ebikes with no problem, and keeps my ride looking lean and mean. Great product!

I have had the hitch rack for about a month. The ease of taking it off and putting it back onto my vehicle makes this rack ideal. Then, when you add the security of how the bike is connected to the rack gives me peace of mind with my bikes on the rack.

I bought this for the back of our Suburban. We have 3 Adults Trek Mountain Bikes and a Hybrid. I had to 'read' the instructions a couple of times because they are pictures and I took a moment to sink in( LOL)... however, it really could not have been easier to set up and use. It's very sturdy and if you following the weight order and driving( stop every 200 miles and check your straps) instructions, it's an excellent rack! I should have ponied up a while ago to get one sooner. Overall, we are very happy!

This is my second Saris SuperClamp I have purchased. I gave my first one to my son and daughter- in- law so they could transport their two bikes. What I love the most about this one is the tilt so you can get into your trunk as well as the fact that when you tilt it back in you have more space in the garage. Also like the addition of the wheel straps on this. I am 5' 1 '' so it is important that it is light weight and easy enough to handle. I put it together with no problems.

[ This is my 2nd Superclamp. The first one was destroyed when someone rear ended me. The Superclamp absorbed the blow and saved my car! Two things I like most of that I can fold the rack up and still open the lift gate of my Grand Cherokee and it is easy for my wife to load and unload her bike. Great stable rack that is easy to use.

[ This was super easy to put together out of the box. Probably took about 10 or 15 minutes. It folds up out of the way when there's not bikes on it. We have an electric bike that's pretty heavy so I needed something hefty. I feel like this bike rack fits the bill.

[ Instillation was simple and quick as is securing the bikes. I used an aftermarket hitch stabilizer for some extra stability. Bikes feel secure in the rack. I took a heavy pedal assist and fairly light hybrid from NYC to Maine and back without issue. The pedal assist has front and back fenders but it was not an issue when securing the bike. I used the built in locks for front tires and my own heavy chains an locks for the bikes when I could n't bring them in and had no issues. It was tricky to find a rack for a 1. 25inch hitch that could solidly secure a heavy pedal assist with front and back fenders and I 'm happy the Saris does this with ease.

I bought this bike rack about 2 weeks ago to use for an upcoming trip and future adventures. I transported 2 Bikes 197 Miles holding a constant 75 MPH. There were no issues with the Bike Rack or any damage to my vehicle. I drive a 2018 Nissan Rogue the Bike Rack was easy to install and did not limit my view. The Bikes were sturdy and did not move a single inch both ways for my trip. I highly recommend this Bike Rack as it's affordable and easy to use.

Originally I purchased the traditional car bike rack but with having two mountain bikes the fit was just two tight and the bikes were are odd angles. I returned it to Dicks with no issues and purchased this one. It took a few minutes to setup but for the most part it is pretty straightforward. The rack is not to heavy and works very well. It is not a heavy duty as the original bike rack I returned but I suspect it will hold up just fine. If I was to pick out any weak points it would be the plastic adjustment knobs other than it should be fine.

Positives:- Easy to load& unload- Sturdy. This thing is a tank- Virtually impossible for bikes to fall off- Zero contact with bike frames- More ground clearance than 4- bike tray racks- Compatible with kids bike wheels( Shown with accessory) Negatives:- Tilting downward when unloaded requires a surprising amount of force- Does not offer much security for the bikes or the rack itself- Difficult to store in the garage My wife and I wanted a 4- bike rack that does not require wheels to be removed, and would not sacrifice ground clearance( steep driveway entry). We were torn between the Thule Revert and Velocirax 412. Thule's never let us down before so we went with the Revert despite being a brand new product. No regrets, we love it.

Accommodates our two ebikes and two regular bikes. Very stable and strong. Easy to load and unload bikes. Easy to lean back to open car back door. Easy to detach and attach from car by myself but it is heavy, 90 lbs?( I 'm a middle aged male weekend warrior). I can carry the rack balanced on my shoulders and waddle over to our side of the house for storage when not in use.

Fits 4 different bikes with no problems. I out a small xc bike, gravel bike, DH bike and another hard tail bike on there and it was perfect. Can raise and lower with very little effort. Coming in at 70# i believe it certainly is easier to maneuver. Very happy with the purchase/. Tool less hitch receiver works great with included key. Is there anything they did n't think of with this rack? Honestly amazing rack.

This was the first Thule product I purchased. After researching most, if not all, vertical bike racks, this one seemed to have the most features, and looks the cleanest. Setup was easy. The ReVert does n't rattle or sway thanks to the integrated hitch lock. Loading the bikes is very easy since you can( just about) roll the bikes into position. The hydraulic arm effortlessly raises the bikes, and dampens them coming down when tilting the rack down.

I got the rack around a month ago. Bike season is not in full swing yet but have used it a fair bit so far with up to three bikes. Set up was very easy, I did it solo and it was very manageable. Feels so sturdy. The stabilizer in the hitch is so awesome, the rack barely moves at all. The damper is really strong which is great when the rack is loaded but when empty it ’s a little awkward to get raised and lowered but once you get the strategy it ’s not bad( I put my foot on the hitch and hang onto the baskets and let my body weight pull the rack down). My girlfriend who is 5 ’ 4 ” can lower the rack on her own and load her size Small bike on pretty easily which is awesome. If I ’ m solo with a lighter bike I ’ ve been just lifting the bike into the rack without lowering it just to save a step and it ’s a pretty easy option as well. I ’ ve used it with 29 ’, 27. 5 ’, 26 ’, and 700c and they seem to hold well. I also bought the repair stand and integrated lock and both are well thought out and really nice additions. I think the value for this rack is awesome compared to the competition. The damper assist up and optional accessories is really sets it apart for me. I was also looking at Velocirax and Jambo Designs when deciding what to buy but I ’ m so glad I got the Revert.

I bought this two weeks ago, and it is a great bike rack. The only reason I give it a 4 is that it is really heavy. Loading bikes is n't bad, but I wish the Locking curve piece swiveled. That would make it easier to load the bikes. I think it is very secure when bikes are on it. Almost forgot the second thing I dislike about it, is the Locking pin. It is n't a pin, its a screw bolt. You have to buy the malone locking pin if you want to lock the Locking pin. I have a 2023 Traverse and the Locking pin has to be just screwes in just perfect for me to get the lock part on, because if its screwed in to much I ca n't because it is to close to my electrical plug.

The new add on works perfect. In addition to increasing the space between the bikes the `` XT '' versions have over twice as much side to side adjustment so the bikes can be off set more. I do n't believe that there would be a problem mounting 4 bikes unless perhaps trying to carry four fat bikes with 197 rear ends. The only issue I have now is the weight. I suppose there is reason to make this whole system so heavy but it 'd be nice if Thule came out with a super light Alloy Premium version... or go carbon fiber like the bikes!

[ I looked at many different 4 bike carriers and settled on the Thule Pro XT carrier. I had read some review and it always amazes me to see people complain about how difficult things are to put together. I am blown away by the ease of installation as well as the engineering on Thule products. This carrier comes with all the tools you need to install and the installation itself is very very simple. Function wise we tested it out driving on the Coquihalla Hwy to ride at Sun Peaks and also some shuttling on Harper Mnt. In all situations on road and off road shuttling the rack performed very very well. I am super happy with it. I would suggest off setting each wheel tray when you put it together with keeps the bikes extra separate. The hitch locking function is also very well engineered, keeping the hitch theft proof as well as super secure on bumpy roads.

[ As my youngest learned to ride and began joining us on the trails we needed a better way to transport 4 bikes. Going with the T2 Pro( and the add on) is so much easier than the “ hanging ” racks, particularly for four bikes. very solid and stable over bumps and on the highway. If there ’s a downside, it ’s that its pretty heavy in the four bike configuration so less likely to Want to remove the rack from the car frequently.( Two person job for sure.). The integrated cable locks making stopping for a bite possible although they ’ re not long enough for both wheels and frame so for overnight stops With expensive bikes an additional locking setup would probably be wise. You can also order cylinders for the extension to match the base rack so you ’ ll only need to carry one key( strongly recommended.

The ratchet clips are a little tricky at first but hold the bikes securely while driving. Overall, it's a pretty slick system that is solidly built and well- refined for my needs.

This is a great rack and is super easy to install. If you can remove your spare tire, you can install it with no problem. Works great for my 2023 Land Rover Defender, the middle length post is a perfect fit for the standard 22 inch rims. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that full suspension mountain bikes can require a bit of creativity to mount due to the SpareRide holding them at two points on the top tube and one point on the seat tube. Depending on the anatomy of your bike I can see this rack maybe not working, but for all other bikes you 'll be good to go.
