Just finished putting at least 400 miles on the zoom fly 5s. No telling how much exactly because I did n't track everything but I really enjoyed them and just got these fly 6s today and went for a 6 miler. They felt good out the box and I think I broke them in by the end of the run. I was running a good pace on fatigued feet and legs( ran 11 miles this am) and it felt effortless. I wanted to keep going but I kept it semi light for the first test run. I think I like these better than the 5s and I loved them. I usually do at least 5- 6 days a week around 7 miles a day. They work for easy runs and hard runs. These feel like they will do the same and are lighter but I still feel like I 'm getting the same support which was my main concern. I think these will be my go to. The vapors are out of my price range but these probably compete with those if I were to guess, especially if you are on a budget like me. Good job Nike! Glad to have switch to y'all from brooks. I get way more milage a shoe.

I like it, usually I wear wide but they did n't make wide for this one and it is good enough room in the toe box. It also gives me a boost on height which is always a plus for someone short. Its a good running shoes and short 40 yard dash runs, probably not a perfect one for long distance like half or full marathons. Shoe laces are secured tightly to the shoes, they do n't come off easy once its tied right. The only negative thing is that the bottom of the shoes can add a rubber type material for stability when its on wet floor.

I just ran a 50km race with 5, 000 feet of elevation gain and loss wearing these shoes. I was nervous that the toe box height would be too short, but that didn ’ t end up being an issue at all. I didn ’ t get a single blister after getting them from other trail shoes. The front toe shield definitely saved my big toe more than once after slamming into some rocks. Not perfect but the best racing supershoe that I ’ ve used among VF2, VF3, adizero adios, AF3. Just received VF4s but yet to run in them. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2. 5 miles but that finally subsided. Have run 2 half marathons in these- each time was PR by 4 minutes. Best thing for me is the low volume toe box. I have narrow, low volume feet. The VF3s are way too baggy in the toe box for me. These shoes do “ hoof clop ” loudly like the old tempo next% trainers. Ppl always turning their head as I come up on them🤣

Returned to running after a 40 year break. Six months in I decided to run a marathon on five days notice. I got these because they are supposed to reduce fatigue and make recovery faster. I ran sub- 4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. These are really great shoes. Hands down probably the best running shoes I 've owned. I 've been suffering from ball of foot pain( metatarsalgia) under the second toe for about 8 months, and it really started to flare up within the last 1. 5 months. I tend to be a forefoot striker and typically run about 5- 7 miles when I go out. Just went on a 7 mile run with the AlphaFly Next% 2 and they really did help to neutralize the impact on the 2nd metatarsal head to the point where I felt no soreness or pain post run. Nike recommended a size 9. 5, but I ended up buying a size 11 and it fits perfect. Hope Nike continues to make shoes like this since it helped me avoid having to give up running.

Had my first run in them and I was sold. 25 miles in. I went 7. 5 miles in them and here are my thoughts. These shoes improve upon everything the Zoom Fly 5 was trying to do. The upper is better, the heel lock is better, the traction is better, the rocker shape is better, the shoe is lighter, the ZoomX is so much softer, and even the little cutout on the sole ’s mid- foot area is better. This shoe is lighter, less clunky, and softer than its predecessor. It lives up to all the hype and then some.

Yes the heel collar is a little high but it does break in. I think it adds to the stability which is why I love the Pro 's. I ran 3 marathons in the 4 's and have had 4 pairs. I bought the 5 's and they are great. I taped my heel on my 20 mile long runs and had no issues. They are slightly more stable than the 4 's and that is what I want. A responsive marathon ready shoe that is stable and NO BLISTERS!!! I have tried every other brand and I do n't know whose feet they fit but Saucony is the GOAT for fit. I am running LA Marathon on Sunday and will be wearing these shoes. If I have any issues I will update the review but like I said I already did 20 miles a couple times during training and with a bit of tape or a band aid on the heel I had zero issues. I think they are broken in and wo n't have an issue but I will be cautious and tape the back of my heel. They also have extra foam at the connection between the upper and the midsole which I think will add to the durability of the shoe. I had issues with the 4 's tearing at the upper and midsole( check review for 4 's). Hopefully this change will add to durability. I also have the speed 5 's and these are a bit snappier but the speeds are a good 2nd if you are budget conscious.

The material is very durable and I love the fact that they are breathable. The best thing for me how comfortable they feel and that I feel more energy every time I walk on them. I also use these more for everyday and walking because I ’ m on my feet all day rather than just running. I have a pair of the originals I use just for running and they are a little bulky as your primary runners. But I feel like I ’ m walking on a cloud with everyday wear.

Bought this shoe a couple weeks ago and after putting about 50 miles on them, my feet did not hurt once. Very plush and comfortable ride, with lots of bounce and cushion. I own the Clifton 10, Bondi 9, and the first Skyward X, and I must say this is probably the best Hoka pair I own. Very similar feel to the Asics Superblast 2 in my humble opinion. A little on the pricey side at$ 225, but well worth the comfort and performance.

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..
