As someone with a lot of foot problems, finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and that look nice had been a challenge. After trying similar LL Bean and Timberland shoes, I finally got the Moab 3 from Merrell. After 4 years of daily use and frequent outdoors activity including outings with my son's scout troop, the upper started to crack where my foot flexes. The sole and lining was still in good condition with reasonable wear. With a rainy camping trip looming, I got the replacement pair and have been just as happy with the new shoes as I had been with the old ones. These are fantastic shoes that offer great stability, decent protection against water, and great comfort.

I bought the waterproof Moab 3 for a trip to Italy and Croatia. Have hiked Vesuvius and Capri so far and heading for Dubrovnik next. I love these shoes, the support is fantastic and the comfort level is the best I ’ ve had. Highly recommend these shoes, especially if you are doing a mix of in and off road walking/hiking, especially if it is wet/rainy.

I have the Gortex waterproof model and love them. When I saw these light weight Vegan hikers on sale, I jumped at the chance to get them. They are comfortable, fit perfect and have super grip! These have become my go to shoes. I teach elementary school children in an outdoor classroom and wearing hiking boots can get kind of cumbersome. These have the same vibran soles, heavy tread and waterproof uppers and are lighter to wear. I highly recommend. True to size with a roomy and comfortable toe box. Snug enough on a narrow heel.

I have been a loyal Moab mid boot wearer for years, having owned and worn through 12 pairs or so. The Moab Speed 2 shoe was a game changer for my feet. I usually suffer from some typical small hot spots during multi- week backpacking trips, but these shoes were an absolute dream on a 26- day trip on the John Muir Trail. The breathability of the non- waterproof shoe is excellent, but they also held up incredibly well against the rough granite of the Sierra ’s. I will absolutely be buying this shoe again!

After breaking these in around the garage, I marched through snow a few times in Tahoe. Definitely comfortable, warm, and dry, even in the melting ice/snow conditions. I should have sprung for GORE- TEX with my previous Moab boots. These fit best with thicker wool socks

The MOAB Speed 2 Gore- tex are very comfortable on the trail. My first use was on an eight mile trail hike. They have a medium firm soul that provides great traction and support on rugged trails. They fit the same as all of my previous MOAB shoes. Great overall shoes.
