After a less enjoyable Vaporfly 3, I was ecstatic to try these on and immediately notice the similarities to the Vaporfly 2 which was previously my favorite Nike racings shoe. “ Adding lightness, ” in the words of Lotus, is the best thing you can do whenever you already have an incredible design. Laces have improved slightly, and are still the best on the market; these don ’ t stretch and don ’ t come untied. Durability is always the tradeoff with some foams, and is the only possible criticism of this pair.

Just did my first workout in these, and they were a dream. It was like running on a cloud. They have the bounce of the Alphafly 3 with the slender weightlessness of the Vaporfly 2. There is no crowding of my ankles, which is my main complaint about the Alphafly 3. I foresee my legs recovering really quickly from hard sessions with these.

I 've already purchased this shoe 1 time and am purchasing a second pair a week later. The style caught my eye first off. I had seriously injured my leg 2 months ago and my physical therapist suggested I buy Asics, which I did. I 've ALWAYS been a Nike fan though but she said the soles were n't stiff enough. `` One '' of the multiple injuries was a badly broken toe which ca n't be fixed bc its too late. It will take a year to heal, I 'm told. In the meantime, every shoe I 've worn, causes pain... until these!!! I 'm SO happy. They literally support EVERYTHING- from the ankle to the arches( which I do n't really need) to the toes. These are the best shoes I 've had in ages! These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10- 15 miles without issue. I 've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they 're still going strong. Wishing they 'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I 'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

I do n't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I 'm not the fastest guy out there. 8: 35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I do n't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I 'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I do n't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I 'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. [ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

[ My first initial thought once getting the Nike ReactX Pegasus Trail 5 out of the box was the sleek yet stand out design and ALL THAT FOAM. Once getting it on feet it felt as comfortable and welcoming as putting a glove on. This shoe is meant for hiking in mind however it is also just a great overall everyday shoe. Going to to the store, going on a walk at my local dog park or even just a nice change of shoes from my normal Jordan ’s or Dunk lows! The shoe feels well put together overall. At first glance the carbon fiber- esque overlay on the inside middle of the shoe doesn ’ t seem like it would do much but as someone who has wider feet naturally it helped keep my foot compressed and on the bed of the shoe where it should be. As well as keeping the shape of the shoe the same for more wears and longer life span for the shoe. I would have to say my only gripe is the back tabs loop used to more comfortably put on the seems flimsy at first and I did refrain from using it in the worries of ripping or damaging the back. Maybe a thicker loop or removal of the strap for other features or design would be my suggestion. Overrall however I feel extremely fortunate I was able to wear these shoes first hand and try them on. It ’ ll definitely be my contender when it comes to any future hiking, trail or everyday shoe!

Added support in the arch of the foot is noticeable but not too much and is comfortable for all day wear. Fit is true to size as far a Nike running goes. Standard width was roomy and provide me ample toe box room. Upper is lightweight and breathable. Outsole has good traction and did not experience any traction issues running outdoors or on the treadmill.

When asked his opinion on the negatives of the shoes he said he couldn ’ t think of any but his top 2 positives about the shoe were fit and comfort. When it came to the fit he said that the shoes fit like a glove they weren ’ t too loose and they weren ’ t too tight and he stated that they didn ’ t adjust over time as well like some shoes do, they stayed at the perfect fit. He also said that he really likes where the shoe falls on the ankle because it ’s not too high where you feel constricted and not too low where it rubs against the bone. He can wear these shoes all day and stay comfortable in them, they have the right amount of cushion and bounce without feeling like you are walking on a board. [ The Nike air zoom, structure 25, is a lightweight, breathable sneaker designed for distance and endurance. At first sight the look of the shoe wasn ’ t set to awe anyone. But once the foot is in the shoe the looks don ’ t matter. The shoe fits true to size and holds the foot like Goldilocks…not too tight, not too loose…just right. The cushion was noticeably significant as the shock absorption on strike was well received and eliminated prevailing joint pain through the leg. That being said, the insole of this shoe is geared more towards a rear mid/heel striker. I also tested this shoe in cross training with a combo HIIT, functional strength training, spring workout and the shoe performed well. It is now my favorite cross training shoe. I would suggest flat laces that hold up to vigorous training and a larger pull loop on the back of the heel for convenience. Overall, 9/10.

Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

For a highly active high school student who spends a lot of time on their feet, these Pegasus 41's are incredible. I originally had worries about them becoming soft, like my shoes from last year, but they are still( comfortably) firm. I have the Pegasus LV8, not the white ones, and they do get a lot of compliments and they are also very hard to lose, but I think that may be partial to the LV8 in the hard to lose point( LV8 are the bright yellow). Wow, these may be my favorite training shoes ever. I have worn standard Pegasus for years and always found they lacked a little cushioning. I have raced in Vaporflys but felt that they lacked stability. The Pegasus Premiums seems like the perfect blend of the two, with great springiness and cushioning but also with good stability. Not light, but not too heavy either. Size seems to be true for me, 12 as always. My only complaint is that the show is expensive for a training shoe, hopefully it holds up better than the Vaporflys at this price.

The shoes do squeak after a few wears. If you had to pick one, these are better than the Vomero premium for a couple of reasons: they ’ re more sleek, and the cushioning is more supportive and bouncy with energy return. I was not a fan of previous iterations of the Pegasus, but Nike hit a Chord with the Peg 41. These are the most comfortable and durable trainers I have ever worn in my years of running. I took my first pair to over 500 miles, then my second pair to over 800 miles and they still feel great! If I could have one trainer for every run, it would be the Peg 41.

I love this shoe so much, the compression of the full length air unit is amazing, it's incredibly comfortable and gives you just enough pop to keep moving even when your legs are just a bit tired and sore. It's also pretty heavy which is great for training on easy runs since it makes running in a lighter shoe feel even easier and more efficient. This shoe also helps build efficiency on easy runs too, helping you maintain proper form and giving good feedback throughout the foot strike and through each stride. I will say however the shoe is not the most stable partly due to stack height and partly due to the air unit, so anyone who has ankle issues, specifically posterior tibial tendon issues may want to be careful using this shoe, since it's potentially easier to unintentionally over pronate. That being said I 've had no issues with it as someone who typically wears a neutral shoe. This shoe is also durable and has great traction, but it would be a poor choice to run on dirt/ gravel or anywhere where sharp rocks are present since it could damage the exposed portion of the air unit. Overall I ca n't say enough good things about this shoe, when used for the right purpose I really do n't think there's any better option out there, it's very unique and extremely enjoyable to run in.
