It ’s a bit of work to switch the legs back and forth from the baseball to softball ones so you pretty need to do one or the other in one session. My daughter feels like the low profile legs give her pretty realistic look at how pitches come at her on the games which is a huge plus compared to having hit her off the baseball machines. It was a bit pricey being$ 500 over the machine that throws 60 mph( this one is 70) so I hope my kids are still using it when they face that velocity. I would recommend product!

A neighbor and good acquaintance of mine who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals bought one of these new Changeup machines. He told me it was the most effective machine he has ever used so I bought one for my sons. It is amazing how it throws change ups with a push of a button on a remote just like your car. Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely would n't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.

We needed a way to pitch softballs more consistently at higher speeds for 12U. This machine has worked perfectly. Easy to assemble following the instructions with a couple wrenches. Holds position well and is easy to adjust.

Easy to build out of the box. Set up was painless with the chart on the lever/ballcover hood. Very consistent. Have used it for pop fly training, batting practice as well as help son catch pitched balls. Very happy

I bought this product a few weeks ago. I attached it to the metal portion of our portable basketball goal. So far, my daughter is happy to not have to track down the balls. You have about 5 to 6 seconds in between swings. Well worth the investment. Product appear durable so far.

These small, soft, balls are perfect for pregame warmups to get your eye and swing tuned. Great for soft toss in the outfield. Balls will pick up spin so you can judge by their flights as to how purely you hit them. The bucket they come in is nice, but I transferred them into a drawstring bag that I can toss into my gear bag/backpack.
