Front waterproof pocket allows to store my phone. There are 2 clear pockets inside that I 'm using to store partial reels of line. Negatives: The Lew's had 2 mesh pockets on the side to allow for storage of tools. There is a velcro flap on the strap that I 'm using for storing a set of pliers but no option for line cutters or other small tools. Overall: I 'm happy with the quality of the pack. It ’s a 24- literally bag which I feel is an ample size for work essentials, gym gear, and personal items. Its main pocket is very spacious, it has a mesh liner inside to keep things in place while still having plenty of room for other items, there ’s also a bonus zipper inside where you can keep a wallet and have it secured. The side pocket is perfect for a water bottle, and you don ’ t have to worry about it being too large because the pocket has a an elastic band that gives more leeway for bigger bottles and doesn ’ t puff up when you remove the bottle keeping it sleek. The front pocket is also spacious, ideal for smaller items like deodorant, keys, snacks etc. The material is smooth and the backpack feels lightweight. I don ’ t have any gripes with the backpack, if anything I would have added a rubber or sturdier sole for the bottom to avoid wear and tear from being placed on various surfaces. Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

It's tempting to buy a cheaper one at the begining of the year but if you are like me and my boys about 2 months in when your backpack has ripped and the zipper isnt working anymore you are really gon na wish you had spent more on a quality product like this. This backpack is durable! The zipper is heavy duty and my son can pack this thing full without worrying about it not being able to handle it. The straps are nice and comfortable and it's the perfect size for my high schooler to fit books, a laptop and his lunch in it no problem.

The hip belt is comfortable. My only issue is with the shoulder straps. Over many hours on the trail, I notice that the straps do not sit completely comfortably around the front of my shoulders. Had this a couple of months and just took my first trip. I bought a pair of ski boots and checked them with my luggage. On my return trip I was worried they would get banged up so a light bulb went off. Could I possibly fit two huge size twelve ski boots in my Peak design. Holy crap. They fit like a glove. As if they were designed for the bag. Bonus, I said hmmmm. I wonder if I can use the straps to tie my helmet to the outside. boom works perfectly. And I also put my tech bag, lap top, iPad, kindle, head phones, goggles, etc in the bag and I need even need to expand to 45 liters. I also bought the sling bag which I carry in the bag and use as a day pack, it takes up zero room in the bag. Oh and I am still finding little compartments I did n't know where there. THERE IS NOT OTHER BAG ON THE MARKET AS GOOD AS THIS. Oh, I know I am a bag junky and I own all the others as well.

It also fits a pair of flip flops. The main compartment fits his shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves, and has some extra room for his jersey, small towel, and clean shirt.
