Believe it or not my dad had invented the wheel design and handle back in the 80's. I 'm glad to see your improvements to the design. I really like the extension T on the handle. but would remocent one thing and that is something to get the handle up higher so the cooler does n't tip over when you walk upright where it is comfortable. I just made a loop with 2 '' webbing to put around the handle as a quick fix but would love something more purmanent.

Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. That way when we ’ re headed down the road we never have to worry about it toppling over and coming open or the wind pulling the lid open in the back of the truck. I also really like the handles. They have straps so they can extend out and up to give you more flexibility in how you hold it. It also makes it easy to carry on my own with my short arms. It of course has wheels to roll on and they are nice and large so it glides smoothly and easily. The handle extends pretty high. Up to around my chest. So I never have to lean down to roll it along. I bought this last month for Travel Baseball. It is a 100% upgrade from the large Yeti cooler we used last year. It is much easier for my wife to handle from car to field on her own. With the added outside storage and bins for the inside we have much more flexibility. It ’s pull out handle and sturdy wheels makes it so we can stack chairs, gear and our 5yr old in one trip. I would highly recommend.

During a 4 day kayak/camping trip, we met a group of people who were doing the same trip as we were. They told us that racoons had eaten trough there soft sided cooler and had stolen all of their food. We shared what food we had with them since we were using Yeti bags, and the racoons, although were around us, never tried to get into our coolers. I believe that was because of the airtight design and sturdiness of our Yeti Hopper 30's.
