[ It took forever before I receive the shoe. Due to hurricane that hit the state of Florida all mails was delayed. But I was so excited upon receiving the shoe and was in love on how sleek it looks! It fit prefectly! The cushion is nice and comfortable. It was breathable even for a long run or walks. I tried it on dirt and the grip is amazing. Never had a problem that I might slide as it was slippery every where due to the hurricane. The material used for thus shoe is top notch. [ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go- to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks- leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore- Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

Goo pair of she ’s. I am a beginner level runner. In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far. They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair. Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days. They are warm to feel in the cold weather. The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in. I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets. I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price. Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small. Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent.

Ever see the character, Tigger, from the Winnie the Pooh stories? He literally bounces with every step! That ’s how you will feel with these shoes. I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

[ Aside from looking like a regular pair of training shoes, these are amazing on the trails! The tread is light enough to be able to run short distances( I ’ ve done about 5 miles mostly incline so far), but also grips and helps with stability on uneven dirt paths. The insoles are comfortable and can be worn on walks and while running errands. They also blend in perfectly with a gym or athleisure outfits which is my favorite part about them. Only “ con ” I have noticed so far is that they feel a little tight in the vamp area( I have pretty narrow feet)- hoping a little wear and tear and fixing the laces a little more will help.

I wear wool socks so even in cold wet weather I am okay. This new weatherized version helps even more because the fabric resists the wetness more. This is now my only Brooks shoe because unfortunately my favorite for most of my ventures is the Glycerin and the way the heel has changed on the 22 over previous versions slips and does not provide me a secure fit. Sad because the Ghost for wet and muddy and the Glycerin for dry and concrete was a fantastic combination until now. I will stick with the Ghost for wet conditions and hope Brooks does not ruin the Ghost design. A great selling point for the Ghost has been in all iterations so far, if one version fits and is suitable, the next version will not be radically changed and is still a good fit. Radical change is not always a good thing. So, yes, the weatherized change and the new sole are fantastic. And hooray the fit has not changed on the Ghost. The only minor convenience for me is that it is slightly hotter than the regular Ghost because of the beefier weatherization in warm weather. In cooler weather that is a big plus.

I purchased three pairs( tan, black, grey) of these in rapid succession because they 're so awesome. I 've been wearing barefoot shoes, minimalist shoes, or sandals since high school- so these were a natural choice. Superb comfort IF you 're used to barefoot shoes. There is no padding other than a thin layer of mesh on the upper. Vibram soles provide outstanding grip and feel. And the soles are super flexible and nearly weightless. Alongside my Vibram FiveFingers and Furoshiki's, these are THE best barefoot shoes on the market. My only two critiques: 1) The mens sizes, especially need more color options( orange, please?? 2) The 'leather' version of these are far inferior to the mesh version. The upper is stiff and do n't stretch. Not criticisms, but know before purchasing: 1) If you 're not accustomed to barefoot shoes, these will be horribly uncomfortable initially. Go slowly and your feet will eventually feel better than ever before. 2) They offer NO water or splash protection. If there's more than 1/2 '' of water on the ground, your feet will get wet. BUT... this is fantastic as workout shoes because they dry super fast and do n't stink. 3) I would n't recommend these for hiking on uneven ground unless you 're prepared. Every sharp point will go straight through the sole and you will feel it. Know what you 're buying. If you 're new to barefoot shoes, Merrell has better options for beginners. If you 're looking for the best 'normal' looking barefoot shoes on the market, these are hard to beat.

Sizing for me was absolutely perfect, I ordered 10. 5 as always and hold and toe box spacing is excellent. I will have to play around with lacing tightness to figure out that best heel hold but that's the case with most shoes imo. The midsole is incredible and I 'm sure it will take on the abuse well, the bounce and propulsion is entirely new for me, I have never experienced something like this before. It would be a waste to use this for easy/slow runs since the rocker and midsole are clearly for running at faster paces.

Love these shoes. I 'm so grateful to have found a jogging/working out/living shoe for the winter that keeps my toes warm and dry. I went up half a size like the other reviews suggested and they fit great. What I love most about these and my other Adrenalines is how long the soles last. I wear these ten to twelve miles a day most days of the week and it was a solid ten months before my first pair wore down. My Nike's never last more than three months and even my Hoka's are toast after four or five months. The staying power of these alone makes them worth it. My one suggestion? The winter is drab enough- let's hit these with the neon stick! I want some bright green/yellow/orange/aqua for the grey days- all the way from the soles to the laces.

I love the grippy nubs on the bottom of these shoes that prevent you from slipping on rocks. I also appreciate the fact that the sides are waterproof, which keeps my toes from getting wet and keeps them cleaner. I preferred the ones with thicker soles, and I 'm sad those are no longer available!

I will admit I was hesitant at first, my older model of the Cascadia was pretty firm and not the most comfortable. Whatever was done on this design, Brooks nailed it. The shoe was comfortable, had just the right amount of cushion, held up to the trail terrain, and looks sharp. Not to mention, it is waterproof and easy to clean. I recommend this shoe for anyone that has hiking on their schedule.

These shoes provide a solid platform, firm, but with enough cushion to protect your knees. Both the tread and gore tex have been excellent in slushy, snowy and icy winter runs on gravel roads and trails. These are the best running shoes for my foot that I have found in a long time, there's ample room in the toe box but the rest of the shoe provides a snug performance fit.

Shoes were fantastic and held up so well. I had no feet pain and had only wore them twice before doing a 12 hr day hike at volcano acatenango in Guatemala. They were amazing and the grip was great for the slippery parts. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing good trail runners.

Bought these a month ago in my normal size womens 10. Had to send them back because my toes were hitting the ends. The size 10 women ’s was NOT a UK 8. 5 which it typically is and runs the same between sizes. The 10. 5 came and I thought they were too long but I walked around the house with a heel lock and they felt great. I ’ ve worn them about 15 miles so far and they are great. I feel the women ’s version runs 1/2 size small. My husband and I wear the same size. I usually have a women ’s 10 which is a men ’s 9. He bought his normal size 9 and I tried them and they are fine. The men ’s 9 IS a UK 8. 5 as usual! The shoe fits differently between men and women ’s sizes I ’ m not sure they even have the same last. This runs true for goretex and non gortex. Hopefully this helps.

I have a unique job and lifestyle so I can wear these for travel, leisure, the gym, hiking, working on the house etc. I ’ ve had them about 5- 6 months and no issues. Love these shoes!! Great cushion especially under heal. Construction seems solid. Tread pattern is very “ grippy ” and fairly aggressive. Fairly wide toe box is comfortable but not over sized. These shoes fit well as the size indicates. They don ’ t seem to run big or small. Just about right. Also love the detail in the cacti by eyelets. The print inside the shoe, and they even mirrored the Nike logo on the sole so the orientation is correct when leaving footprint!!!
