[ It took forever before I receive the shoe. Due to hurricane that hit the state of Florida all mails was delayed. But I was so excited upon receiving the shoe and was in love on how sleek it looks! It fit prefectly! The cushion is nice and comfortable. It was breathable even for a long run or walks. I tried it on dirt and the grip is amazing. Never had a problem that I might slide as it was slippery every where due to the hurricane. The material used for thus shoe is top notch. I love the color and the support it gives to my foot and legs every time I take a step or stride. Definitely a great shoe to invest in especially foe those who loves to run or walking.

[ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go- to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks- leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore- Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

[ I got these shoes for running outdoors. As the weather gets cooler and wetter, it ’s very important to have proper footwear that will allow you to get through your exercise comfortably and confidently! This waterproof shoe also allows me to run as long as I want without stopping due to the elements. The shoes are very comfortable overall, I do feel as though they run a tad big, but I don ’ t think I ’ d size down. It honestly just feels a little big in the heel area; my toes were in a good spot in the shoe. I love the reflective piece! It ’s very innovative, looks really cool with that rainbow effect, and keeps me visible/safe if I run when it ’s dark. I like the black/grey colorway but I definitely want to cop these in a lighter color too so I have options as far as outfits go. I ’ d recommend these for any outdoor runners or athletes! They definitely keep my feet dry, as intended.

These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.

Ever see the character, Tigger, from the Winnie the Pooh stories? He literally bounces with every step! That ’s how you will feel with these shoes. I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

Where did I take my new shoes? First trip is to Portugal, including beaches, cobblestone streets, hiking on gravel and stone paths. And yes, a bit of water to test the waterproof claim. Warm and dry- but not too warm. They breathe better than past waterproof shoes( including from Merrell) I have had. Fine for wearing all day in the sun. A good balance of support and cushion, without excess weight. Excellent traction on smooth surfaces.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I just ordered my second pair of the Rubatos to replace the ones I ordered a year ago. I walk about 1- 4 miles a day and have worn these on about 66% of those walks. They provide plenty of cushioning and support. I can wear these for long periods of time without my lower back and feet hurting. Suggestions to make this the perfect shoe: a little bit better ventilation, a little more width in the toe box and maybe add 1mm to the lugs. The lack of availability in colors and sizes makes me think these are or will be discontinued:>{ I wish Merrell would make more zero drop shoes and sandals.

Love them!!! I get a lot of compliments on these shoes. I have had issues with planters fasciitis for the last year and half and cracked my ankle from falling because of it. I normally wear Ghosts and have great and love them but I got the Caldera 7 on sale so I decided to try them out. I use them daily, not just for running. I 've had 3 pair of Montrails since my first pair in 2001 and have loved the brand. Was excited when I discovered these and found them recommended in Runner's World Mag this year. They are light, bouncy, and really plush for a trail running shoe. Great build quality. I would say they 're soft like the Pegasus Trail 4 but with a lower stack. Just completed a 5 mi trail run and they made the run fun. I think they 're best suited for non technical with moderately smooth trails with gravel and roots. I 'd use a harder and more stable shoe if I was traversing rocks and big roots. Looking forward to running my next half marathon in them with absolutely no concerns. Also super comfortable to wear around town. Got 3 compliments on them in one day! Will not be disappointed.

Super light and responsive. Much different from other trail shoes on the market. Merrell has a great minimalist line up and I think this really adds to it. If you ’ re looking for something with more grip and pop than the trail gloves, or just something light and nimble that doesn ’ t feel clunky like other shoes, this will for sure be for you. Only minor complaint is that the heel feels like you ’ re slipping out at first, but I got used to it during the first run, didn ’ t have any issues with fit or comfort.
