The Flex Mount helped me out on a big way. I ’ ve had a tree limb knock the camera off the tree and a bear tore it down breaking the belt loops built on to the back of the camera. It installed nicely on my 2010 Chevy Equinox and with the help of the Thule slide, I am able to lift and load without any help. It was a nice snug transport of 10 miles driving 55mph. I am very happy with my purchase of the Malone J- dock Kayak& Gear storage rack. Installation was easy. I did use a bigger drill bit than instructed to drill the pilot holes for the screws, and used socket rather than a wrench to make it easier on myself. The whole installation was about 20 minutes. Once installed, placing my kayaks in the cradles took about 10 minutes. The straps to hang the second kayak did not ratchet as easily as I would have liked, and I suggest using your own straps, having help to take weight off the straps while you ratchet them up, or using something under the kayak to hold it up while you tighten the straps. Either way, once they kayak is up and the straps tightened the kayaks are secure and the system is great! I also liked having the ability to store my paddles on the rack.

[ The Thule Force 3 is the perfect addition to our Toyota 4Runner! The delivery was fast, and the installation was a breeze. The trickiest part for me was positioning the box just right — I prefer to have it centered on the roof, as we often access gear from both sides depending on the situation. The XL size is a great fit for an SUV. Due to the design of our crossbars, we did need to shift the box back a bit further than we initially wanted, which prevents the trunk from opening fully. However, this is entirely our choice, and I do n't fault Thule for this minor issue. We took the roof box on a skiing trip right away, and it held our 4 skis and poles with ease! It ’s been a game- changer for freeing up space inside the car. While the box does make a bit of noise once we hit 70mph, it's nothing that bothers us. Overall, I highly recommend the Thule Force 3 to anyone in need of extra storage. We 're thrilled to have it as part of our gear setup!

Originally I purchased the traditional car bike rack but with having two mountain bikes the fit was just two tight and the bikes were are odd angles. I returned it to Dicks with no issues and purchased this one. It took a few minutes to setup but for the most part it is pretty straightforward. The rack is not to heavy and works very well. It is not a heavy duty as the original bike rack I returned but I suspect it will hold up just fine. If I was to pick out any weak points it would be the plastic adjustment knobs other than it should be fine.

I have it mounted near the front of my kayak which allows me to rest one blade in the tank well and clip the shaft of the paddle in to this holder. A very effective design.

[ I have n't used the one I just purchased just yet but I used one on a friends kayak, which made me go buy one for myself. No worries about losing my paddle as long as I lock it in the Rotogrip and the paddle holder in the nose of my kayak. Great product for sure!

Rack fit mostly well on my bike, my only complaint is that the rubber gaskets supplied with the rack were n't able to be used so the rack slides down the seat pole. I ended up mounting a reflector under the bracket to keep it from moving down which worked.

Installed these on my expedition to use with my 14 foot canoe with my Reese one man loader. They were easy to install and keeps my canoe solidly in place going freeway speeds. Instructions on how to use tie- down straps were very helpful and the whole system works great.

I have the Malone AirFlow towers and rails and the BigFoot Pro pads are a great accessory to get the canoe/kayak up off the vehicle roof. Quality construction. I just wish there was a way to lock them to the crossrails.

Overall, a great way to store your canoe on your vehicle's cross bars. Felt like the price was about triple for what you actually get in terms of plastic braces, 2 straps, and screws. However, it's a well- built product that should last. Have used it twice thus far for our canoe... have a good hang of it now... could probably reinstall/take- down in 10 minutes tops.

I placed this on a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with factory crossbars. These worked great for holding a 16 foot canoe. Never moved and protected the vehicle. I would give it five stars if there was a way to lock the mounts to the car( None of the other canoe carrier companies had locks either. ie thule, Yakima) It would be nice if you did not have to undo all the screws each time you removed the mount from the car, but not a big deal. I would recommend this and I would buy it again.
