Love the hiking boot feel and flexibility of my Flyweights. Perfect for our hike in streams here in the Southern Appalachian and Smoky Mountains! Dual purpose footwear. They work well with my G4 ’s or a pair of Simms wading socks for the summer heat!

They work great right out of the box! I knocked the new off of them by fishing 7 straight days in Argentina on the Malleo. The boots offered plenty of support both in and out of the water. We did a lot of walking and I had no problem scrambling up and down the bluffs. The felts worked just fine on the slick, rolling, bowling ball sized rocks and my legs appreciated the lite weight at the end of the week. I ordered the size recommended on the Simms webpage and they fit great. I highly recommend them.

Light weight with plenty of support and comfort. I ordered my shoe size which was perfect for my waders and a pair of heavy socks. Got the felt for North Georgia fishing and will get a pair of the rubber soled for my trips out west. Thumbs up!

Used them on the Neversink, a river whose riverbed is full of good size rocks and boulders that are moss covered. The boot gripped like a charm. Because of the light weight the boot did n't protect me as well as my heavier, more padded boots when I stepped in between rocks but the lightweight was a real lifesaver with our 2. 2 mile hike from the river at the end of day.

These boots are amazingly light and appear to be very durable. Just fished in them everyday for a week and was totally satisfied. The size chart was accurate and very helpful- got the boots bigger than I would have thought, but the size was just right.

[ Bought boots for some felt restricted areas in New England. Great ankle support and sure- footed, Simms hit these boots out of the park! Paired with crampon blades for ocean surfcasting allows me one boot for my pursuits.

[ Even lighter and more comfortable than I hoped they ’ d be. Wear a size 9 shoe in every brand and a size 10 boots fit perfectly with orvis super light waders

Great boots for hiking and wading. You no longer have to choose between lightweight and a proper wading boot. Vibram bottom sticks well to river stones well!

[ The lightest wading boots I have ever worn and probably the most durable. They are great for trekking to fishing spots because they are light and don ’ t feel like you ’ re dragging your feet along. You won ’ t be disappointed with these. Also size up one size

[ I bought these when my old boots finally fell apart. I actually bought a number of different boots to try them on and these topped the bunch in terms of fit and weight. So I returned the others and the next test was how these operated in use and the passed with flying colors. I picked a 2. 5mile hike in that had varied terrain from gravel to lots of rocks to a fair bit of scrambling to get to the good holes. These performed very well. The soles are stiff enough to support walking across the rocky bottom and not risk an ankle but supple enough to feel the terrain and grippy enough to feel secure and not slip. I noticed the weight( or lack thereof) after 7 hours of hiking, fishing, exploring- my legs and feet felt great. They shed mud and silt very well and finally they dried quickly. I 'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this boot to anyone looking.

I ’ m pleased with both the ankle and arch support these boots have. ... Boots performed flawlessly and offered an upgrade in traction over my previous pair of Tributary

Started with a pair of field and stream brand boots, lasted 2 years. Then went for a pair of orvis Clearwater that lasted only 1 year before the heel started to wear out and damage my waders. These simms boots seem like they will outlive both of the previous pair. They are so rugged and sturdy. I love that the whole boot is made of a thick rubber. The boots go so far up the ankle that you have so much support. It ’s almost like they make you stand up straight and have proper form. 50+ miles have been hiked in these since owning them for the past 2 months and they still fit and look like they are brand new. Simms will be the only brand I buy from their waders, to rain jackets, to hats. Quality all around

I bought the boots for my son who wears a size 15 shoe and thus needed a size 16 wading boot. They seem to fit him well though he has not tested them in the water yet as he has a career and family with a baby so he hasn ’ t had the opportunity to do so. We are looking forward to our first outing together and I was so excited to find these for him. Thanks for the great product and support!

I will start by saying these are the best pair of boots I have ever owned for wading and I would highly recommend these boots. They are very comfortable with excellent support and great traction. I also purchased a pack of the hardbite studs which work great. I were a size 12 shoe and I purchased a size 12 boot and they fit perfectly with my waders. I have only used them a few times so far so not sure how they will hold up. But so far so good. They still look brand new lol. I would give simms a 5 out of 5 on these. I ’ m sure there higher line boots are amazing as well but for a more mid priced boot these are definitely worth it to me.

These boots replace my old Simms Leather Guide Boots, which are twenty years old and still serviceable. Incredible boots, comfortable to hike in and the fit is great. Follow the Simms sizing guidelines and you should be good to go. Sent a photo of the boots with me wearing my Simms Guide pant waders. They are twenty years old and still no leaks…incredible products!

Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing. ... I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. ... Very comfortable. ... I wear a size 9 boot and the size 11 wader boot fit me

Fit great easy to get on and off. I have mobility and flexibility issues and was able to tie them with no difficulty. Wore them for 7 hrs in 44 Degree water my feet were warm all day long. I need a cane to walk and these bots gave me an added to my ability to wade in more rocket water.

The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. It was a tad bulkier than what it appears in the picture, but not excessively so. Fits well with a lot of good support. Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing.

I give these 5 stars as I have put somewhere around 300 days or more fishing my first pair of these and have put 20 or so on a second because the sole cracked on the first. I fish the Rio Grande in New Mexico several days a year crawling on the volcanic rock, boulders, cactus, sage and they have held up to it. I have tortured these boots and they held as long as any other guides much more expensive boots. I only wish I could get them with about a 3rd the volume as I have a size 13 B foot and have to fill lots of space with wading socks. Even still I bought a second pair.

[ Perfect wading boot where I live because of all the oyster beds and sting rays and the potential for a nice fishing outing gone sour really quick

Excellent fit minimal break- in required. Good protection and support but soft ankle collar for minimal ankle abrasion with long long hikes thru water. Expensive though. Work best w industry standard neoprene socks w built in gators from Simms, Orvis or Korkers.

Best wading boots ever! Comfort is a plus and much lighter than my G4 boots. Love the boa, I ’ ve been debating on this type of boots and pulled the trigger, super pleased with fit& performance. I did add the Hardbite Boot Cleat, perfect combination and kept me wading safely steelheading this season. Highly recommend if you ’ re thinking about a wading boot easy on& off. Saves the fingers during cold weather too. One thing I ’ d change is the placement of the D- ring, my wading cuffs will not stay connected.
