I have owned many wading boots over 50 years of fly fishing. These are lightweight and comfortable. I haven ’ t had them long enough to comment on durability, but I have used the wet wading shoe that is constructed the same way and they have been extremely durable. Match these up with the new Simms Flyweight Packable Wader( like I did) and you will have a combination hard to beat!

These boots are my favorite to guide in as they are not to stiff allowing me to walk normally. They are especially excellent when fishing road side where there are longer walks to the river!

Over all I love these boots, light, easy on and off, great grip with stud, and they have help up well. My only criticism is the web shoe lace eyes seen to be a little light. They have started to fray a little and one of them has torn through. I would have given a 4 1/2 but couldn ’ t, they are still a great boot.

Fantastic wading boots! Lightweight and low profile provides good ankle support and dexterity while boulder hopping compared to a high profile boot. I bought these after reading the reviews which indicated some purchasers were having discomfort at the ankle. I have worn them indoors for 1- 2 hours without difficulty and then started wearing them outdoors for 1- 2 hour walks with my dog. We were on sidewalks and in wooded areas. I walked in long grasses on rough ground. I have had no issues and find them to be comfortable and supportive. I will now be wearing them for full days outside when the weather is colder and wetter. I am very pleased with them.

I bought these about 18 months ago. They lasted through some very extreme abuse from hauling headstones on a hand truck across miles worth of mud, dirt, rocks, gravel, clay and anything you can think of. They really bit into the ground when I needed it and didn ’ t slip easily. They just now broke down where I need new ones and are no longer waterproof just now. I ’ ll say, the insoles aren ’ t so great but I buy upgraded insoles a couple times a year. True to fit, broke in alright. The laces lasted almost a year. On the heavy side, but didn ’ t get in my way. Getting another pair with hopes of the same results!

I love these boots. Got my first pair of Georgia boots back in high school. Finally a waterproof boot advertised truthfully. Was n't big on the heel being so high but once I broke these in, they are my most comfortable boot. The ONLY negative I have is that, for a work boot, I expected tougher rubber. I 'm a manual machinist and all the hot sharp metal chips I pull are next to me on the ground. The tread has deteriorated and come to nearly unusable for hiking after only 6 months. I hate that because I 've had other brands I did n't care for like my danners and the tread was the only thing they had going for them, and those lasted well over two years. However I still love the comfort and waterproof to this boot. Many wet days in the mountains of North Idaho. I can hike comfortably for miles and miles up and down steep terrain without tiring and blistering my feet and my feet are always the only dry part of my body. First time in my life that's happened. Thank you Georgia Boot.

I 've owned it 3 pairs of these boots they last forever you can put them straight on out of the box and they 're comfortable they are by far some of the best boots for the money!

I work for the USPS, I walk anywhere from 9 to 13 miles a day. Jumping in and out of trucks, lifting packages and delivering mail. All tennis shoes, and boots id tried before where leaving my feet torn up with blisters and hot spots. Have had these boots about a month now, all my hot spots and blisters are healed. These boots are extremely comfortable, and offer fantastic ankle support the amazing traction has saved my butt going over Arizonas gravel yards and driveways. Be aware though these boots while not steel toed are still very heavy! Weighing in at about 2. 5 lbs each, they make for a great leg workout that takes some getting used too.

I ’ m very happy with my new Simms boots. I have a wider foot and these boots have plenty of room. I love the boa system. It does require you to tighten the boots a few times in the first few minutes that you ’ re wearing they but the secure fit is wonderful.
