purchased from nike, not Dicks. But i have seen a lot of non- typical reviews that may dissuade someone from giving these shoes a chance. I have over 300 damage- free miles on these shoes and i am just now looking at getting a replacement pair. not due to damage, but just due to the zoomX foam losing its `` springiness '' which is typical for it over time. I started wearing these shoes coming from wearing nike free's for years and just wanted to give something else a try that is lightweight and without a carbon fiber plate. These shoes will not `` destroy '' your ankles if you are already adept to wearing a minimalist- style shoe. These are not true minimalist, but they are very lightweight, lighter than my minimalist shoes, and have a very low heel- toe drop. Both of these specs can compete with minimalist shoes. Coming from wearing minimalist shoes, my ankles, feet, and lower legs are strengthened to adapt to the less cushioning and stability. If you transition to these shoes straight from wearing `` traditional '' trainers, there will be an adjustment period and you may decide its not for you. That is not a knock on the shoe, but more of a characteristic of this style of shoe. I transitioned to these shoes pretty seamlessly from my Nike frees. Streakfly's are the lightest shoe Nike makes, and extremely flexible. Like wearing socks. This is what i look for in a shoe, and something to consider for anyone looking at giving these a try. It is a very fast shoe, but it will lose its responsiveness over time due to the exposed ZoomX foam. They can still be used when this happens though. I am not happy that Nike decided to add a carbon fiber plate to the new Streakfly's, although Nike did make the shoe even lighter. I uses these shoes as a daily trainer and do not want to run with a carbon fiber plate every time, this can cause injury. i am currently looking for deals on these shoes from other sellers because they are not for sale through Nike anymore and i want to pick up another pair before they are completely gone. Bottom line, if you are someone that is already used to wearing a lightweight, flexible shoe, with low drop, you should really give this shoe a try. If not, there will be a transition period before you can wear this shoe all the time. When i transitioned to minimalist, i went through several shoes of gradually decreasing weight and drop in order to let my body strengthen and acclimate.

This is my first time purchasing the endorphin speed. Typically run at least 50mi a week, and have been a huge fan of endorphin pro 2, 3, 4. However, I rarely get more than 350miles out of each endorphin pro before the midsole of the shoe separates from the upper knit at the arch. While I do n't feel as much pop from the speed, I can instantly tell the upper of the shoe is not going to have this problem as it is substantially more durable than the pro. The feel of speed is a little bit slower but I think it will hold up well as a trainer that takes on the bulk of my mileage so that I can save the pros for tempo runs and races

It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. Adrenaline has been my go- to shoe for the past 17 plus years. Marathon days are over but using for daily walks and light jogging now. Initially tried this shoe on a few months ago very briefly when we were out and about and thought it felt a little tighter than previous models. Recently purchased a pair and after a brief break in period, I loved the shoe, and it is right on par with the previous models of the adrenaline that I really liked( especially the 22's& 23's) with a tad bit more cushioning( which my aging body needs) and the stability that we expect from the shoe. I wear AFO braces and have found the Glycerin to offer slightly more comfort in the heel because of the outer heel style and perhaps a bit more slope of the sole, heel to toe, than the Ghost. The Glycerin seems slightly more snug across the toe box than the Ghost, although not enough to be uncomfortable. I generally order from the company website because the braces require a size 10 wide and I like color and design choices.

These shoes are so comfortable!! They 're my go- to for long walks or running. I over- pronate and my flat arches feel so supported in these. I 'm normally a 6W in dress shoes, and the 7W in these fit perfectly, providing wiggle room for my toes. For the 22 model, I had bought the 6. 5W which were not quite big enough( they fit the exact size of my feet without any wiggle room).

I recently decided to make the switch back to Asics, and am so glad I did. The Novablast is lightweight with the perfect amount of spring and support, and I can feel the energy return when running. I was a little apprehensive with their width at first, but you don ’ t even notice that once they ’ re on. This has quickly become my new favorite training shoe.

I wish Dick ’s carried some of the more fun and bright colors( or smaller sizes in men ’s) because the women colors in stock tend to be very neutral. I sized up in this one to fit properly.

My last three pairs of shoes have been the Pegasus 40, 39, and 38. To me the Plus is an improvement over those with better cushioning, especially compared to the 40, but not overboard like the Invincible Run that caused me hamstring problems. The light feel reminds me of the Epic React but with a better fit. I seem to say this with each succession, but best pair of Nikes ever!
