Having spent years looking for a belt that is not made of cheap metal on the “ belt buckle ” portion. I have finally found it. I am semi worried they ’ ll never make them again so I ’ ve already purchased another one to have on deck. The belt stretches, is easy to adjust on the fly, feels solid, and does n't seem to trap sweat terrible given it ’s also not made of metal I would likely feel ok washing it. Looking forward to putting it through its paces on the trail- it does JUST barely fit my Fjallraven pant belt loops but it's not much trouble as a heads up. Sure would be funny if it didn ’ t fit their pants.

These trekking poles performed very well. I have used them on numerous hikes, to include the lower half, or non- technical part of the climb of Mt. Rainier. They stowed well when and survived the abuse of being strapped to the outside of my pack for the rest of the climb. I also used them on the rim- to- rim hike of the Grand Canyon. Make sure you purchase the appropriate baskets for the hike on which you intend to use them. Also, check the friction locks before you head out on your first hike. They may need slight dialing in, or tightening with a standard Phillips screwdriver. Quality Black Diamond gear as always.

I purchased my original Leki Cork Lite poles back in 2015, and they survived an entire thru- hike on the Appalachian Trail. If you need a quality trekking pole, I can highly recommend these after using them for thousands of miles on trail! I love the comfort of the cork handles. To top it off, the customer service at Leki is simply the best. They recently went above and beyond to help me replace a part on my older poles.
5
Connor
Great trekking poles- semi light weight and comfortable grips. Good adjustment mechanisms and lock reliably. With other poles I ’ m worried about straining too much backpacking weight and bending them, but I took these up Mt Baker and Mt Rainier( w/ opposing ice axe) and they were sturdy supporting 60+ lbs on my back. I wish they packed down a bit shorter( minimum length) for easier travel, but overall they ’ re great

The Stranger
Very nice poles! Have used them on some big mile days and the grips are superbly comfortable and I really like the minimalist straps. The fit/finish is excellent and no slipping from the locking mechanisms so far. Only issue I can find is that they feel somewhat flexy and do have a slight bit of vibration that you can feel during use as compared to the set of carbon poles I replaced these with. Minor things overall and they don ’ t seem to hinder the poles performance in the slightest. Overall very satisfied and a nice set of poles.

I used my husband's super light BD trekking poles, but when it came to getting my own, I choose the shock absorbing version. Trekking poles are a great way to warm up my arms on the way to crag, which is usually uphill. On the way home, I can really lean on these shock absorbing poles to save my knees and feel more confident that I am not going to biff with a heavy pack!

Absolutely superb! I detest ordinary hiking trousers- they ’ re always so baggy, with huge amounts of material that flaps around in the wind and discourages quick progress, and they look awful too- really unflattering, and they make men look like elderly grandads. HOWEVER, these Abisko Pro Tights are just amazing! They fit great, they look good, they ’ re hard wearing, they wash well, they ’ re comfortable … and they don ’ t flap around in the wind. The sizing is spot on … if you ’ re honest about your size. I ’ m a 28 ” waist, and the size XS fit perfectly. Note- the two pockets, one on each leg, are different. The right hand side one( with a flap) will accommodate all sorts- it ’s a good size, but note it is too deep/ positioned such that if you put a mobile phone in it, it doesn ’ t “ feel right ”. But that ’s because it ’s the left hand side pocket that is designed to carry your phone- and in that pocket, the phone feels very comfortable and secure, but easy to access. The reinforcing on the knees and bum seems to work well, and looks good too. They ’ re a really quality piece of kit- pricey, but I ’ d say worth it, to be honest.
5
Happy Hiker
My new favorite trekking trousers. I have worn leggings for winter running for some time, but only in the last 12 months I have started wearing leggings for hill running and hiking. The Abisko Trekking Pro Tights are very comfortable and warm and have a compressive feel on the calves. They have handy pockets on the sides. I have been caught in moderate rain and have found that the tights have a reasonable degree of water resistance, and even when wet they feel good, and you don ’ t have that horrible feeling you get when trousers stick to the back of your knees. When the conditions change the tights dry quickly. The material has a different feel to running leggings, but that is probably due to the fact they are more adapted to rugged conditions and adverse weather. They have toughened patches over the knees and the rear which will hopefully keep them durable for some time. I am glad I purchased them.

While tights as a baselayer is nothing new for me, I 've recently become a convert to tights as outerwear. Women have been doing it for years, and with more and more options and styles on the market, men are starting to catch on to the benefits. Long have I hated baggy hiking pants. They become floppy when wet, and even the more fitted pants can be constricting for aerobic sports like trail running. I purchased these tights with the intended purpose of wet wading while fishing, and to that end I think they work great, though i started finding many more appilcations for their functional benefits. I wanted to put them through the paces and test the range of activities. So I took them on a half marathon training run around my neighborhood in misty mid 50s weather. Here is what I discovered:- there is a liner in the front crotch, suggesting that these are meant to be worn sans sous vêtement. While the somewhat abrasive stitching tactically avoids sensitive areas, they still run the length of the garment, giving me pause. Turned out not to be an issue, even for the seam running up the backside.( If anything, the liner helps smooth any unwanted embelishments if you still choose to wear something underneath.)- The tag actually irritated me more than the stitching, though after about an hour of running I no longer felt it. Still, i wish i thought to cut it off before i left the house.- i am used to wearing trousers and shorts on my hips. These tights are meant to be worn high on the waist. It almost reached my belly button. This ca n't be avoided, you must pull them all the way up or the stitching in the crotch WILL rub your inner thigh.- the reinforced areas kept my legs warm and feeling fresh even as the wind picked up. I was worried they would feel uncomfortable for long distances but i quickly got used to it. Would definitely come in handy for hiking, wading, scrambling, sitting, or any other activities where you make contact with your environement.- the drawstring was next to useless. Fortunately the tights are tight enough to hold themselves up for the most part, but once the string wears out I may try to replace it with a thin running shoelace. Bottom line, these are on my packing shortlist for all outdoor endeavors. Quick drying, warm, breathable, non constricting, and durable. Works well as a base layer or on their own. They look great, feel great and give me the confidence to be as bold as they look. If someone sees a man in tights on the trails, they will say to themselves, whoa, this guy means business, and give you plenty of space. I would like to conclude that as great as they are, they are still tights. I probably wo n't go grocery shopping or to my son's soccer game in these. Recommend sticking to places where they are functionally appropriate.

I never have used hiking poles before but decided to get them in place of ski poles to help me with walking and snowshoeing during my knee replacement rehab. So far so good with my new trekking poles. My first pair served me well for 3 years. I broke one this winter coming down from South Double Top in the Catskills. My new pair is an improvement. Love these poles. Previously had the Alpine Carbon Cork. These feel very light but solid. Easily collapsable and has the best hand grips out there. The cork is so much better that the foam on some of there other models. I also like how the M/L grip is a bit larger which feels good in the hand. Ive heard some reviews that the locking pin sometimes collapses under pressure but mine have been fine. Skip the higher priced carbon flzs and get these! Also the color on the website looks more orangy/red but they are a true red in reality.

This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Despite ordering a darker color, this thing does a great job keeping the heat off you. I would order a whole closet of these if they were n't so painful on my wallet!

[ The material of this shirt is great, soft and breathable. It is very comfortable for hike during summer. Sufficient pockets provided. The downside of this shirt is that the use of material for the button made it heavier compare to Abisko Hike LS Shirt but still light weight enough.

[ Love this shirt- material and fit. While I normally wear an XL for Fjallraven( 43 Chest), a L fits me for this one. I am a trail builder and find this shirt too warm above 75 degrees with routine exertion. Cost is high for me, but I think it will serve me well.

[ This backpack is great! It holds the weight evenly and while I was only out for a few hours I had no issues with it at all. It is very comfortable and the elastic spring steel really helped with keeping the sweat on my back to a minimum. There are so many pockets, and it comes with a tarp to cover the backpack if it rains. The straps are all super adjustable which makes it even more comfortable. I really appreciated the cushions on the lower hip straps, they helped immensely. Great backpack, super comfortable, and lots of storage and loops to hang things

[ I bought this earlier this month for a camping trip. I was able to pack a week's worth of clothing in addition to water and some dehydrated food. Not only was it able to carry everything I needed, it was so comfortable! I hiked 8 miles a day and almost forgot I was wearing the backpack at times.

[ We used this backp this weekend. We are avid hikers throughout our national parks. We are always looking for a lightweight yet versatile pack to take with us. This one was comfortable with the waist straps as well as firm backing. There are lots of spaces to pack essentials

[ Great item as expected! Good craftsmenship and relatively light weight! There are many loops on the outside for more luggage attachments! The large compartment can be opened from the outside in several places. So you do n't have to empty everything out to get to items at the very bottom! Great feature! The shoulder straps are super flexible. Reminds me of a ruck sack but a much more compact version that the Army offers! Value for money is ok!

[ Bought these to use on my A T Thru Hike attempt in 2022. Used them this past week on a shake down trip and they were by far the best poles I have ever used. I have 3 other sets of poles in my hiking closet. The cork handles and the angle make a major improvement in my older poles. The cam locks work as they should and stay where you set them. In addition the tent I carry uses my new poles as my tent frame. I can not be more happy with the performance of these trekking poles.

These are replacements for poles that I had for more than 3000 miles. These poles lasted through many adventures in the desert Southwest and through the mountains in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. I watched all of my fellow hikers on the Appalachian Trail go through 2 to 6 pairs of trekking poles, but my poles lasted until after the 2200 miles traveled to Katahdin. They broke on the descent. I loved those trekking poles and I am thankful I had them!

[ There are my first hiking poles and I am really enjoying them. The extentions stay in place securely are are quick to adjust. The cork is comfortable and absorbent, I am a very sweaty hiker living in a high temperature area so it important for me to have a secure grip. I only wanted poles with cork grips. I am enjoying how the poles make my hikes more of a full body workout than not having any and my knees are much happier. I have already caught myself one with a pole when I would have slipped on some risky ground and my stream crossings are more secure with more limbs. The carbide tips are very reliable at finding purchase along the trail. I am trying to get my husband to buy a pair for himself. He is only 2 inches taller than me and these were a good value. An investment in our joints and hiking safety.

I bought these a few days ago. These tights look amazing on and fit great. I typically wear a 26 in jeans. I purchased the XS and they fit perfectly.
5
Dong
I bought this last week and it was made in Vietnam. The information was printed on the tights, which I think it is better than a physical label. I am 58kg/ 161 cm. The tights( size S) are very tight on my legs but there is still much room at the butt, so when I walk I could feel the butt area a little bit strange. Regarding comfort, Abisko Trekking Tights Pro are less comfortable as the Abisko trail tights I own, but warmer. You can literally feel the compression and tightness of Abisko Trekking Tights Pro when you put it on.

Without wanting to sound erratic, these are without a doubt the best item of clothing I own. I could rave about them all day to anyone who would listen. I have worn mine weekly now for work and day- to- day life for over two years and no issues. The pockets are fantastic, I can fit gloves, phone, keys, etc. The material is comfortable, light, durable and practical in any weather. I feel confident and happy when I wear them. I am a photographer/videographer for a living and work in a variety of different environments both indoor and out. When not at work I am busy entertaining my child and exploring in the countryside or going to playdates and the tights look good in any situation.

My first pair of trekking tights- glad I went for these. I 'm Uk16 and 6ft and find the Xl a perfect fit. The seams are very strurdy and the pockets well placed. Hand washed and air dried several times and holding up well. I like the knee and seat reinforcements, but a same coloured option would be good- as per another reviewer. Warm enough for wild Welsh winters. The fabric dries quickly and is hardwearing with big dogs and scrambling over rocks. The ankle hole seems tight, I 'd say these are a `` sit down and ease over the heel '' legging rather than put on standing up and pull all the way on. A suggestion- Would Fjallraven consider printing the garment information inside the fabric instead of having itchy fabric labels? I have to carefully cut out the labels with a sharp knife, without damaging the seam, which I 'm sure will end in disaster one day.

[ I bought this bag because of its many features and the external frame it has. This is one of the most comfortable bags I 've ever used, and it's mainly due to how well the bag supports weight. The bag is also very versatile. The torso length is adjustable, the brain comes off to become a day pack, and there are accessories such as pouches that can be attached on with molly on the waist belt.

I wore these on a four night trip to the backcountry. They were incredibly comfortable and I loved the zippered pocket. By the third day, I did have to pull them up a bit but the drawstring came in handy. Our trip involved multiple water crossings and I found these tights dried quickly, which was a relief once temperatures dropped. I am 5 ’ 10 ” 155lbs and purchased a medium- great fit!

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. They are thick enough that they feel more like pants to me and oh, so comfortable. The waistband is high, but not too high and the overall fit is just perfect. The leg pockets are deep and secure and the reflective piping at the ankles is a really nice touch. I had thought I might need to wear long underwear with them to be warm enough, but the wind proof panels are a life saver and they are plenty warm if you keep moving.(* An added bonus is that dog hair does not stick to them!) I 'm 5' 6, 140 lbs, average build and the Medium fits perfectly( In the Keb's I wear a 38EU)

I love my poles. I have n't had much experience with trekking poles in about 15 years, but these fit the bill. A greedy little bush pulled one of my snow baskets off, and is more likely operator error( not putting the baskets on tight enough?) than the poles.

[ I bought this for future, unknown trips. My nephew immediately took it out of the box and got into it. He looked so comfy I decided to try it in my bed and now I just love it and sleep with it. It OPENS on the bottom to stick your feet out. This is why I bought it. I ca n't stand sleeping without sticking my feet out to breathe lol. So, it has n't even made it outdoors yet but the quality and comfort is excellent. I bought it used on the site and it was in excellent condition as described. Has a very nice packing bag as well with straps. This is why outdoor equipment is worth paying a premium; you really get what you pay for and I highly recommend the brand.

I want to thank Leki for these great Cressida Cork Lite poles which they provided to me at no cost in fulfillment of a warranty for another pair/different model that had a defect. These poles are sturdy and light and give me confidence on the trail, even on steep inclines or descents. It's very easy to change the length of the poles as needed and I like the women- specific sizing since I am on the petite side and do n't need more pole length than necessary. The cork grip is very comfortable! I was n't sure how I would feel about a cork grip since I was previously used to a foam grip, but I think there's actually more stability and palm to pole contact with a cork grip. I am also not used to aluminum, which is indeed stiffer than carbon, but I think it's worth it to choose aluminum for Leki's great warranty. Leki stands behind its products and I will only buy Leki poles from now on. Thank you!

I 'm very happy with this purchase. The only recommendation for improvement I can make is that the cork handles come unsealed. Since these are going to be used heavily in a wide range of weather conditions, from the hot Arizona sun, Monsoon rains, and even snow, I felt it essential to seal the cork to ensure the handles hold up to the use I plan on giving them. I recommend UV- 40 cork seal. I have used it on fly rod handles I have made and it works perfectly, and lasts many, many years. Make sure to follow the application instructions on the bottle. Apply one good coat using a bristle brush. Make sure you do n't have any drips, runs or sags. Do not apply a second coat, as it will not penetrate.

Just purchased these poles after reviewing my health issues. Being a diabetic for 57yrs I am developing some balance issues. Researching canes I discovered how anti- postural they are, plus clumsy. An elderly neighbor was seen walking with trekking poles. I thought that was a good idea. I purchased my set from a chain sporting good store and got some walking shoes as well. Studied how to properly fit and use trekking poles. The experience is natural when set up correctly. Walking gate and posture are enhanced and I look forward to many walking excursions. I live in the intermountain west which is perfect location to use this valuable tool.

If not for the stitching issues, I would buy another of these.

[ Great spring and summer bag! Super soft down and silky fabric. I love the zippers to vent, especially when my feet get hot, I can open the bottom and keep warm up top. High quality zippers with extra fill around them to prevent snags and drafts. Love it! Mesh storage bag is a nice addition, but it could be bigger.

[ This is a wonderful sleeping bag to be used during cold temps. Handled single digits well. I used the reactor liner with this bag. I am very impressed with the quality and packability of this version. Would order again!

[ I love this sleeping bag. I am a side sleeper who likes their feet out. This bag meets these needs and goes with me everywhere I go. I sleep on my left side, the men's version is the way for me.

[ I bought this backpack several months ago and it has become my hiking necessity. With so many pockets and compartments, I can easily hold everything I need without getting extra tired from too much weight as the backpack has the perfect amount of padding. I took my pack on a rockclimbing trip. It easily held everything I needed.

[ So comfortable to wear and excellent padded back for comfort. Plenty of pockets and straps for gear! Top pocket easy to get into and side zip for super quick access to inside gear.

[ I have n't had the chance to use this bag yet; waiting for the weather to warm up. The bag itself is great, big enough to house all my stuff but still compact so it does n't feel too bulky. I love that there's a side zipper to pull out my sleeping bag without everything else following with it. Great brand and great material.

Frankly I was a little skeptical at first whether the price was going to be supported by the value, but I can safely say that this is one of my better gear purchases in a long time. Build quality is exceptional and they have functioned flawlessly for me so far. I would highly recommend.

I took these for a spin the other day on a small hike and love how light they are. I got these for a big trek later this year and look forward to using them!

Bought to use as trekking pants on a trip to Aconcagua. Could not be happier. Lightweight yet durable material. No obtrusive seams. Pockets are sized just right. Light enough for hiking in the sun, but not overheating.

I ’ ve been using this tarp for nearly a decade and I absolutely love it. I have the large size with the inner tent and it ’s incredibly spacious and lightweight. I ’ ve used it in just about every condition you could imagine and it ’s held up exceptionally well. I ’ ve survived big summer storms in the alpine, used it in light snow, stayed dry in absolute downpours, and just about anything else you can think of. The 10x10 size feels like a palace when you ’ re solo and it disappears in your pack. Barely shows any sign of wear. Can ’ t recommend this tarp enough.

[ This is absolutely worth every penny! The best tarp I have ever owned! Setup is so easy. Attachment points are in the right spot! Getting the lines taut has never been easier!

[ Used the tarp several nights while hiking the Appalachian Trail as added cover from heavy rains. This tarp rocked and was great. It added a bit of a vestibule cover to the front of the tent and kept us wonderfully dry

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. Never had to use the internal rainfly, but that was definitely a selling point for me. Highly recommend!

[ I love this pack. I bought it to replace an older osprey pack that I completely wore out. I love the rigid stays on this backpack so that it sits upright when you put it on the ground and the air pocket helps keep it much cooler, a total bonus when you 're hiking in the hot and humid Smokies.

[ If you 're buying backpacks, Osprey is without a doubt one of the best brands. I currently own at least 5 packs of different sizes for trekking, day hiking and traveling. Osprey incorporates every detail one could want and backs up their work with a great warranty. Look no further!!

The Hikelite 28 has changed hiking for me forever. I 've had numerous packs of various brands over the years and thought they were all `` '' fine. '' '' I', e also had 2 major spine surgeries and have permanent spinal hardware. I bought this pack after trying a friend's and can honestly say it's changed by life. Nothing rubs or dogs and my entire pack load is suspended in a way that is so much kore comfortable by entire hiking posture is improved. Additionally, the pack does n't bounce or bump on my hardware and the hip belt does n't rub on incision scars as other packs have done. THANK YOU!
