Seems like Camelback could develop a consumer product or provide specific guidance on how to resolve this issue. I found several YouTube videos offering advice but none have worked completely yet. I 've been purchasing Camelbak packs going on 16 years and now have at least one designated to each activity I do; running, MTB, Cycling, Hiking, and working outside. I would say I still love the fit and durability of each different style I have( the one I use for working outside is the first Rogue I purchased in 2008), and I 'm really happy Camelbak finally upgraded the bite valve design, but the added magnetic clip placement still needs a more permanent home to affix to on the shoulder strap or chest strap, or something. When the only place to affix it to is somewhere along the adjustable side of the chest strap it's just never in a constant place to mindlessly clip it back in. Otherwise, I 'm still a loyal and satisfied user.

A perfect complement to my Burley Coho XC trailer. It ’s a nice fit into the trailer with a little bit of room on the edges. If you want to talk, some other goodies in the rolltop works well, but the clips on the side may not be in the best position. Otherwise, a great light weight bag to keep my gear dry on weekend trips to the Cape and Islands in northern Vermont. Nice being able to get on a ferry with a trailer and not need a car reservation and be able to carry everything you need rain or shine.

The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. Customer support for a defect was great. Once you get moving you don ’ t even recognize it ’s behind you, until you get to a hill, but that ’s part of biking. I used the for the first time on C& O Canal and it was raining for the entire trip and at the end of the trip It was full of mud. I hosed it and all the mud tased off right away. [ I 've had my Bike Packer Plus panniers for 16 years. They are still waterproof from rain and traffic splash. They have traveled a thousand miles or more over the worst gravel roads my town has to offer but the fabric has not frayed and the original buckles still lock securely. I 've loaded them with chainsaws, carpentry tools, clothes and groceries. The collar extends from Cordura section of the pack closes with a drawstring and is water repellent. This packed can be stuffed and the top flap will still cover, buckle down and protect everything inside. The Q2 system on mine keeps them in position and makes them easily adjustable fore and aft so my heels wo n't hit them when pedaling regards of which bike of mine has them mounted. Watch the video of the mounting system; it's accurate. The new model has a different front pocket than mine. Mine is mesh but the mesh has n't split and it has held securely all that I 've put inside it. I 'm glad to have them.

So far, having been through Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with me, through some torrential rain, they have been pretty great. The outer pocket is a nice place to store a rain coat. My only complaint is that the old ortliebs used to have straps on top that could be used to strap down a mat or something and these don ’ t, but i certainly wish they did!

I took this pack on a trip to California where I had to pack light, but needed to bring my work laptop and knew I 'd be doing some hiking. It was the perfect pack for the job! It was great for travel and fit everything I needed for a plane ride and easily transitioned to a hike once I got to my destination. It really has the perfect amount of pockets- I love the front `` shove it '' pocket and the interior mesh pocket to keep thing organized. It also has a small pocket on the inside for its rain cover( which is included!) which came in handy while I was on my trip! My favorite feature of the pack is the included water bladder with magnetic connection points that keeps the hydration hose secured to the backpack strap. [ I ’ ve had this new backpack for a little over a month now and I ’ m really enjoying it. From a work standpoint, there ’s a cushioned area for my laptop, iPad& other work files in the main pocket. In the secondary pocket that is sealed with Velcro, I carry all of my laptop cords and other miscellaneous supplies. I ’ m surprised how well the Velcro seals and nothing falls out. The side zipper allows me quick access to whatever I need. On top there is a small zipper pocket for my pens, pencils, and a calculator. There is also a water bottle holder on each side. But what I like most about this bag is the blaze orange interior, which helps me to see items that get buried in the bottom of the bag that would normally be difficult to see if it was lined in black. This is ingenious as I ’ ve never had a backpack with this coloration on the interior. I thought it would be annoying, but it is very helpful. I ’ m new to mystery ranch, but I am now hooked on their products! I have a new hunting backpack that I recently purchased, and it is outstanding! When fully packed with all my work stuff, it weighs approximately 12 pounds and with the adjustable shoulder& chest straps fits& carries well. Absolutely adore this backpack! The rich, warm ochre hue paired with the slightly wrinkly fabric is a lovely combination, and the fabric is waterproof too! The padded shoulder straps are very comfortable but might take a day or two to get used to, and the two inner pockets are perfect for small items. I was worried that it might be too small, but once I move my water bottle and thermos to the side pockets, I have enough room for my laptop and books. Three things that could make this bag even better: 1. Adding a strap to the back, so the bag can be securely attached to a carry on suitcase. 2. Using a fabric with the same color and texture but more stretch. 3. Either moving the two inner pockets to the inner front of the middle compartment or adding two inner pockets to the front pocket.

[ I 've been using evac compression bags for awhile, the new UL ones are great for backpacking and using in your backpack but they can be a bit fragile this Heavy Duty version is excellent. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. I 'll be picking up a few more in various sizes.

They really thought about every detail on this bag!!! you have a place to set your sunglasses, and your poles which was amazing!!! i didnt feel the weigh of the poles on me at all the bag comes with a water bladder which was a plus!! the bladder was amazing, we had no issues with it at all, no leaking and easy to clean. We hiked at Mt Rainier and it held great, there were some rainy days and the bag held it self well, it's not water proof( they dont claim it is) so I do recommend getting a raincover but the insides werent soaking with water. I have this same bag but last years edition. I just used it for several hikes from 5 to 10 miles long. This bag rocks! I was previously a Camelback guy until I wore my old one out. The interior is minimal by design but does have a laptop compartment and small interior pocket. It is 30 liters but is not an overly large bag so it could easily work for every day use.

[ This bag would work great for a larger- sized day bag. The roll top ensures that anything inside is protected from the elements, thought it also means that you really have to reach down in there to get stuff out. I liked that the roll top has options to clip down on the sides of the bag( as shown in the picture) or to itself, like most dry bags. The yellow color is also very nice in person. I ended up opting for the non- rolltop version of the Ulvo 30, as having that quick access pocket was more important to me than waterproofness, but this would be a great choice nonetheless.

The description does n't do this bag justice. The roll closer is easy and looks clean and nice. The zipper that allows access to the main area is great; it will enable so much space for packing what you need into the bag. The laptop sleeve is really deep, so it holds the laptop stable. The ability to use the compression straps is awesome and allows the pack shape to look so much cleaner when packed with daily needs, it also keeps you feeling like your stuff is n't being moved around when you 're on the go. The harness and Hipbelt are comfortable and easy to adjust. 10/10 for this bag!

Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

The compartments and the small zipper pocket are our favorites. Everyone even has their own color! We use them as our daily gear transport but can easily see this working for an extended bike trip. The long carry strap is super comfortable and well placed. Also love the 3 top handles. If you do n't have the top zip closed you can still grab by the two side handles and move it around without dumping it.

[ I have traveled to several continents and used the water bladder and pack for day hiking. It is very comfortable and the weight is distributed around my waist. The hiking poles are strapped on the side of the pack. The lining started to peel and osprey replaced the entire pack. Thank you for a very good pack for my adventures.

[ Bought this bag for my hubby to hold his iPad Pro for travel and I was somewhat surprised to discover the VAST COLLECTION of straps that are attached to it! One pair for over the handlebars, two to snug up the girth, one for the shoulder, and one for the waist either presumably as a bike messenger bag, or maybe for fitting over your luggage handle or keeping extra snug to the bike, or whatever. Also, the bag works well for hauling small amounts of stuff in a manly man- purse sort of configuration.
