I 'm really liking this compact backpack canopy, especially after buying a different one from a different store originally. They were the same size, style and price, but the first one I bought had mesh panels around the frame, including between the top and wall, leaving a gap of coverage and they would catch in the velcro. After returning that one, I picked up this Quest canopy and was much more satisfied with the sturdiness of the frame and thicker fabric in one solid piece- no mesh! While it's true this canopy does n't stand as tall as a standard 10x10, it's comfortable for sitting under in chairs and the compact size when storing and transporting is worth the trade off for us. It's easy enough to bring and set up by myself for the kids' swim practices, while a 10x10 would be too much hassle. I have been very popular at practices when I bring this canopy. We used this at our first swim meet and set up two chairs and a blanket and it worked for us. I could lift and rotate the whole canopy as needed to adjust the orientation of the canopy wall as the day went on. Almost everyone else had a 10x10, but they also involved wagons and lots of hauling gear around. We were happy with our relatively light load and the minimal space needed for storage at home.

I used this pack for the first time on a 12 mile round trip overnight stay at a lake. It held everything I needed- I am an over packer too- and I still had room to pack out a few extra things like camp garbage. The hip support pads were nice and cushioned and didn ’ t chafe my skin like other packs, but I did notice my hips more sore than normal the day after. I wish there was more exterior pockets for smaller items, but the top cover having such a large pocket did the trick for me to access things like headlamp, bug spray, and some snacks. I ’ m very loyal to TNF brand and was reluctant to replace my well used spectrum pack, but very happy with my purchase and look forward to more use.

Very clever design, I ’ m going to immediately order more. At first glance the kinda just look like expensive packing cubes for luggage but once you use the storage system as a whole every thing is a very good value for what your getting. It ’s hard to tell from a photo but the side walls of the gear pods are quite rigid and the mesh top is thick and durable. There ’s also a small rib on top of the pod that allows you to nest them on top of one another for a perfect fit within the alpaca storage bin. In total our bin holds 4 smaller pods and two larger ones perfectly. The pods are really nice to keep your adventure organized without wasting space.

I have used the 8 liter bag for both backpacking and front country travel, it's great for both! I think the thickness of this bag is the perfect intersection of durable and light- good for a food bag while camping or a dirty laundry bag while traveling. I have never had a S2S buckle break on me, but it's cool that it comes with a field replaceable buckle. I 'm not totally sure what the benefit of the hang tab on the bottom of the bag is for, but I 'm sure there is a reason for it.

I use these lightweight dry bags on many caving expeditions. They are fantastic in that they hold up well and weigh almost nothing. The addition of the field repairable buckles has also really secured these as some of the best dry bags on the market. I would still prefer the seal design to be changed into more of an envelope style to ensure an even greater seal at the top but beyond that I really recommend these as long as you can put them in the secondary containment like a backpack.

[ I got this pod/packing cube type thing. This is very heavy duty and durable compared to any I 've seen on the market. The first thing I noticed was the handle placement on top followed by the mesh. I believe this would be great for taking to the gym or on a hike your damp/sweaty items would be able to breath in this container. Another great use for long hikes is to use it to keep bugs away from your food while you prepare other parts of your meal( maybe not hot items). You can keep all your essentials in one place. This is a great product for just about any sport that involves any sort of water. This spends most of the winter on my snowmobile keeping backup layers dry, and has held up really well. These ca n't get wet extra layers are essential in the backcountry, but I never have to worry about that with this bag. In the summer this transitions onto my bike and can take the wear and tear of being strapped on externally. I had an older version of these bags, but the new one is easier to use and more streamlined. The compression feature is well worth the( minimal) additional weight as it takes up way less space and gives you more options to strap the bags onto other things.

13L is the perfect size for my 20 degree down sleeping bag. It ’s critical to keep down dry and having the compression straps turn a full size down bag into the size of a small basketball which frees up lots of space in my backpack for other items. I have an older version of this bag that still works well but the new quick release buckles on this model make it easier to use. Note that you do need to be patient for the eVent to work. It ’s a dry bag so water can ’ t get in but air can escape with compression out of the eVent fabric. Pro tip: roll the top closed once and add pressure to get out a lot of the air, then add two more rolls and clip closed. Pull the bottom over the top and using constant pressure keep cinching the straps alternating sides for and even compression. Another quality piece of gear by Sea to Summit. Two thumbs up.

I have been using the EVX 13 L dry bag when paddling, climbing, camping and bikepacking. This bag is amazing! It is light, tough and above all keeps the weather out. I took this out on a multi- day bikepacking trip which turned into a multi- day snow and rain event. I stored my down jacket and other `` need to stay dry so you do n't cry '' items in it( down jacket/pants). Everything stayed perfectly dry. The compression straps allow me to get my gear into small areas in my bike bags without compromising the integrity of my gear. The compression straps worked super smooth, no twisting or locking up. I travel to remote locations, most of the time solo( unless guiding). I need to know that I can count on my gear to keep me in the backcountry as long as I want and not have to leave due to equipment failure or poor design. The EVAC bag is amazing. For the waterproof test, I sprayed the thing with a garden hose, on “ gentle rain ” setting for 30 seconds with my down bag in there to see how it would perform in wet conditions. [ I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I use many totes in my house to store items not in use. I really like the Alpaca Gear Box for many reasons. For starters, this box is 45 liters and boasts plenty of room for a number of different items. I love that it is waterproof and dust proof, as I have pointed out the blue seal in one picture. This box is equipped with 4 hinges, meaning that it does n't just open on one side, you can open it on either side or completely remove the cover! And the cover, guess what?! It is clear so you can see what it inside, and, it is smash- proof!! How awesome is that? I also like that there are holes on two side of the lid and box which I 'm assuming are to use for padlocks. All in all this is a great gear box that is super durable and will be used for years to come.

I ’ ve taken my Gregory Women ’s Jade 24 LT Backpack on two training hikes so far as I prepare for my upcoming trip to Havasu Falls, and it ’s been exactly what I needed. The organization is one of the biggest highlights. The front pocket is perfect for storing food and snacks so I don ’ t have to dig through the main compartment during breaks. Inside the main compartment, I can comfortably fit clothes, toiletries, and a water bladder without everything feeling cramped. [ I am pretty impressed with this pack. I have a few very high end hunting packs and they always seem to cut off some hip circulation. With a 3 night off trial campsite this pack was fantastic! I was skeptical but this pack performed very well. I really liked the U- zip access, huge hip pockets, and the side pockets that I can grab a waterbottle from while wearing the pack. A couple of things I did n't like: those huge hip pockets left no room for a bear spray holster, there is no way for the lid to double as a separate pack for little jaunts from camp, and the hip belt was maxed tight on my 34 '' waist in the Med/LG frame choice. I could get the waist belt tight enough but if I stopped eating cookies...

The stretchy expansion panels are great, zippers are super sturdy, and the compression is impressive. One medium and two small packing cubes were enough for two weeks in Europe in the fall, and I ’ m not a particularly light packer either. The dirty laundry section is amazing for keeping things organized. After my trip I loaned them to my brother who used them for three back- to- back trips and they still look like new.

At first I was skeptical on how much clothes it would fit but when I tested it out, I was able to fit two heavy duty cargo pants, four shirts and two jackets. I also love the separate compartment for dirty clothes so that I if I don ’ t go through all my clothes in the cubes, I can still keep the dirty ones out of way. The only thing I would change is to maybe add some kind of connection clip for the zippers because when the cube is really full, the zippers tend to become undone, unzipping themselves. granted, it ’s not much of an issue since they ’ ll just be inside my bad until I need to open them.

Fits a week worth of clothes: 1- 2 pants, 1- 2 shorts, 6 t- shirts, belt, button ups, a light jacket. And can expand for more. Material feels really nice too. The first one I had actually got a tear in in a few years in, but Peak Designs just sent me a new one for free no hassle-- great company!

After 3 years of use in all conditions in the four corners of the world, I can say... this is a perfect bag. Tested by the Indonesian rain, covered by snow on the Swiss peaks, splashed in the middle of the Andaman Sea in Thailand, deposited in the burning sand of Egypt, whipped by the winds of Spain, exposed for hours to the sun of Tazmania. This bag is all- proof, it is the perfect travel companion for small and large journeys. With its adjustable size it allows you to go from one size to another in a fraction of a second. You can put all your equipement of photo for a perfect security. It is an integral part of each of my trips as much for its practicality as for its quality. Ingenious and really well thought out I recommend without hesitation to anyone who wants to invest in a quality bag for many year.

Had this a couple of months and just took my first trip. I bought a pair of ski boots and checked them with my luggage. On my return trip I was worried they would get banged up so a light bulb went off. Could I possibly fit two huge size twelve ski boots in my Peak design. Holy crap. They fit like a glove. As if they were designed for the bag. Bonus, I said hmmmm. I wonder if I can use the straps to tie my helmet to the outside. boom works perfectly. And I also put my tech bag, lap top, iPad, kindle, head phones, goggles, etc in the bag and I need even need to expand to 45 liters. I also bought the sling bag which I carry in the bag and use as a day pack, it takes up zero room in the bag. Oh and I am still finding little compartments I did n't know where there. THERE IS NOT OTHER BAG ON THE MARKET AS GOOD AS THIS. Oh, I know I am a bag junky and I own all the others as well.

Wow- is possible to be in love with an inanimate object( 45L backpack)? I purchased this bag a month ago and have used it on two trips. Flawless, high quality and lives up to all the reviews! I am a 35 years old nomad, and I 've been a nomad since my childhood( thank you, mom and dad!). So you can imagine that I ’ ve gone through my fair share of travel gear. But five years ago, I made the switch to this backpack, and let me tell you: it changed the game!! This isn ’ t just a bag; it ’s my life in carry- on form. We ’ re talking everything: clothes, two laptops, cameras, wires, other electronics, toiletries, you name it... I even managed to attach a tripod and camping tent on the front face for a while.( Who even designs something that versatile? Genius!!!) I am not the most careful person with my belongings, so backpack has seen it all. I ’ ve flown on airlines across every continent, and not once did it get issues using it as a carry- on. Okay, there was that one tiny plane where it wouldn ’ t fit in the overhead bin. But I found an easy solution: I pulled out my laptops, slid this backpack under the seat, and we were good to go.( Sure, the flight was cramped, but blame the plane, not the backpack 😂) It ’s not just about the space, though. This bag is comfy to carry for hours, perfectly balanced, with multiple carrying options and a sternum strap that ’s somehow both lightweight and super durable. And yes, it ’s heavier than my previous bags. But I ca n't complain, because it ’s built to last. This thing has survived downpours that left me drenched while my gear stayed dry. Mind you, I have my stuff inside plastic bags inside my backpack, just in case. But the last few times, nothing inside got wet anyway. I haven ’ t tested it recently, and I know that the water resistance may decrease over the years... but from my past experiences, it ’s never let me down.( I ’ ll update this review if that ever changes) If you ’ re on the fence because of the price, but you are looking for something to use for years, let me save you some time: just get it. After five years, I can ’ t imagine using another backpack. It ’s my ultimate travel companion, and if ever it breaks, I would buy another one for sure. I hope this helps someone!!!

I did a lotttt of research before buying this. It's my first suitcase style pack, meaning it zips open wide. I travel a lot, carry a lot of camera gear, and always my laptop and a bunch of electronics, and it all has to fit as a personal item under my seat. I had read this would only fit a 15 '' laptop, but it accommodates my 16 '' MBP with no problem. I had read suitcase style backpacks are boring when you need to quickly stuff something inside or take something out, but if you arrange the zipper correctly, you can also do that here. Now I have the perfect pack which fits everything I need, but I do n't have to dig to the bottom blindly to grab something, or take everything out to reach the bottom items. And the color makes me feel sharp.

I watched and read a lot of reviews looking for a well made, sturdy, compact travel pack to use for international travel. I need to carry on electronics, overnight clothes, personal and travel items with easy access to each. Love the separate lined and padded laptop sleeve. I got this backpack to prepare for my 3 month trip in the Caribbean and it ’s has been so helpful to say the least. I have an overpacking problem but all of the different compartments and pockets made it so I could fit everything I needed. The support on the backside of it helps so much with my back pain and doesn ’ t make me feel exhausted at the end of a busy travel day. Furthermore, the top bit comes off as a smaller backpack which was perfect for day trips. The only thing i would change would be the smaller buckles that attach the front pocket to the bag, they were a little weak. However, I don ’ t have any worry they will come undone when I check it at the airport. Overall, this bag has been a HUGE help!! It definitely has made my traveling much easier.

[ This Ampex 65L transcend backpack is quite impressive. It checks all high- end features like- waterproof material, little pockets for essentials is awesome. It provides really decent support for the frame on the back and the rest on the hips, rather than on upper back and shoulders. Lastly as it is 65L- it can pack everything needed for international or a multi- day hike comfortably.

This is a great backpack for the price. I am giving it 5 stars because it's everything you would want and need in a pack. The middle zipper opening is an amazing feature that allows you to get into your items without having to pull everything out from the top like a conventional pack. One downside are the hip straps. I feel they could be slightly larger for the size of pack, I had some discomfort but nothing terribly bad, likely had more to do with me being out of shape as well. I recommended this to a buddy and he has one and uses it quite often like myself.

I went backpacking in Linville Gorge, NC for three days, and honestly, my best choice was the 65L backpack. It fit what I needed and had plenty of room to spare. The support to keep my back from sweating, the elastic exterior pockets, and the included small daypack are my favorite details. I would change the side straps for the rigid mat to be a little longer, and the phone holder to be more elastic, since my S23 Ultra does n't fit. I highly recommend this backpack without a doubt.

This backpack is well proportioned and has all of the right amount of pockets for storage of all sizes of items for your journey. It is also comfortable to wear which is a must. My only complaints are two minor things. First, the bottom zipper where the sleeping bag goes can get stuck easily on the zipper guard/overhang. Second, the padding on the waistline can soak up a lot of sweat. But overall a great backpack and looks cool too. I will keep it for years to come.

I bought this bag to use on a weekend hike on the AT with my thru hiking son. The bag served it ’s purpose. I was able to carry everything I needed easily in the main compartment and brain. The zip pockets on the outside are pretty useless once the main compartment is filled. Same with the water bladder. I did not use it. For the money though it ’s a good bag. It was comfortable on two 10 mile days from McAfee Knob trailhead to Daleville, VA. My torso measurement was 18 and I used the small setting on the adjuster. I tried the medium setting but the shoulder straps did not lay correctly on my back.

This backpack is very big and sturdy and it can definitely hold a lot of whatever you need. I like that is has additional smaller pockets on the handles and straps to keep small things like wallets, cash, or cards dry and separate from the rest of the items you 're holding. the arm and waist straps are seemingly strong and easy to adjust to proper fit, and they hold the pack in place very securely. It's also nice looking and the easy to remove/attach waterproof cover is an additional plus.
