This is hands down the best bag EVER. I use it for all of my travels and it hold so much and has a great amount of built in organization.

5 Tim
Perfect backpack for everyday use. Plenty of room for 1- 3 day trips. The materials, design, and quality of construction are excellent!

5 Ian
This bag is great! I used it on a weekend away and it was just the right size! I also used it as a daily backpack while traveling in France and it was super comfy.

5 Quinton
Excellent travel backpack for a weekend or as a supplemental bag to a roller. Comfortable when wearing and super useful holding straps for when held to the side or on other bag. The pocket configuration is great and there is no wasted space. Some other bags( Aer SF) have more pockets but filling one pocket takes up space in another, this is not the case with the Base Camp Travel Pack

5 Joel
Jungle river missions trip. I like its light weight, multiple compartments for organizing gear, and water resistant.( That works well)

Amazing product. Keeps everything organized and my car clean. Super easy to clean and use.

5 Jayne
I love it!! Wish I bought 2! Holds my mountain bike gear, or water gear ie.. wetsuits or misc.

5 Gerald
Great for storing supplies in my truck. Perfect for when I go camping or hunting.

5 Christopher
These things are sooooo handy! Love them for camping, groceries, beach gear, snow gear, or just throwing whatever in it when I need more than 2 hands to bring stuff in from the car. Both sizes are uniquely handy for different situations. I 'm glad I bought both sizes& will probably buy a couple more for my wife's car.

WAY better than the base camp duffle. The medium( for skiing) can fit ski boots with socks, 2 pair gloves, 2 knit hats, ski pants and a shell. Everything you need in one easy to grab rigid bag. The zipper opening is HUGE compared to the duffle.

5 Darren
We have a few of these and keep them in the back of our trucks to collect all the things that would otherwise be rolling around. We also have the large version that we use for dry goods when traveling.

5 Cindy
Exactly what I needed to carry my gear. Love that's it's collapsible and does n't take up space. Want the other two sizes.

5 Sam
Great for keeping gear in the car. Sturdy and light

5 Alain
This bag is just amazing because it can be collapsed and erected as a rigid box. And I love the yellow, when other similar products are too conservative in color.

Long term bear can user ready to make the switch. Needed something for both bear and critter proof and this looks like it meets my needs. The quality looks good and knot info found on ursack site was helpful. I will send a follow- up review once I can actually test it out on this year's backpacking trips.

5 randyb23
[ Holds a decent amount of food in the bag. Very durable. The rope that ties the bag shut is plenty long enough to secure the bag to the base of a tree in case there is n't a suitable place to hang it out of reach. Easy to pack.

5 sosarahsays
[ I didn ’ t have an overnight camping trip scheduled to try the URSACK in the field, so I lent this to some friends who were camping in the PNW. They were impressed by how much lighter and easy to transport the URSACK was compared to their normal bear canister( and flexibility in stuffing it full and folding it when it emptied!), and reported that their foods and toiletries stayed safe and dry on their trip. They are now looking to get their own URSACK, and I ’ m excited to try it for myself on a camping trip later this summer.

5 andreab742
[ Pretty cool but honestly won ’ t use that much to give it an amazing review. But it seems pretty durable. Would be nice if you lived in California or some where we bears are around. So I can ’ t say how well it works on keeping animals out!

5 stevenk32
[ This bag is extremely durable and heavy duty, definitely ca n't it it with a knife so I 100% believe it keeps critters out very well. It is slightly bigger than the size of a regular drawstring bag. Very lightweight bag that can fit 5 days worth of food for 1 person, depending on the size of the items you put inside you can maybe fit more. I was very excited to bring it with me while out on hiking/camping trips and it has worked very well.

Golden and burgundy colors match very nicely and it is very pleasant to look. I can fit everything I need for a day trip like clothing, food, external charger, gloves and etc. It looks very aerodynamic hanging on a back whilst curving snowy slopes. It can be also used for a trail runs as it has hydration pack compartment and hole for a pipe. material looks water repellent and back is covered with mesh and sturdy frame. It's a great pack for a day trip. Though some of my hikes are long days, this can carry the essentials I need but is light and versatile. Two water bottle pouches on the outside are great. Can be combined with a Fanny pack or other items.

5 Jonathon R
Love the color. Sturdy pack that is perfect for a day hike.

5 Christopher
[ This thing is awesome! Super simple and light weight. Pretty water resistant as well. I use it as my go to and have been caught in some pretty good rain storms and it kept everything dry. The back pad does n't hold too much heat and the taller more narrow shape of the pack does n't feel like you have a bunch of stuff. I 've used it for hikes, weekend trips and as day to day bag. 10/10 would recommend.

4 Garret P
This is a very good, very simple bag. It has a small outside pocket on the top and main compartment. I have used it for a few hikes and a few 20+ mile runs with a bladder inside( it does have a loop to keep the bladder upright). Good bag for the money.

4 Dan F
I 've used this for mountain runs and sport climbing. It took me a while to discover the hose pass- through for the hydration bladder. The pack is mostly one giant space which has plusses and minuses. I wish it had another zippered pouch on the outside for snacks. I 've kept them in the outer stretch pockets which works well enough I guess.

I actually have two of these and they are fantastic bags. 5 star. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. 5 Dave
I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

[ I have been using Granite Gear cordura compression sacks for many years but took a chance on the Sea To Summit compression sacks. To my surprise, they were not only equally rugged enough to meet the rigor of my motorcycle travel, they were also lighter and more water resistant. Quality product for sure!

5 Elliot W.
[ When I first bought it, I thought there was no way my massive sleeping bag could fit inside. I was wrong. Stuffs perfectly in and fast, too. Feels durable and I ’ ve had no complaints so far. It also compresses down smaller than other similar sacks I ’ ve tried. 10/10!

5 Bob L.
[ I have several sizes of these and use them all. Highly recommend.

5 Jason R.
[ I use it for a 10 deg hammock under quilt as mine only came with a stuff sack. Works well and is lightweight making it easier to keep things in my bag organized and where I want them in my bag. I 've only used it 3 times so far but i do n't see any issues of wear and tear for many years as i do n't usually beat up a compression sack. I do n't store my quilt in it when it's not being used, I just hang it on the hanger with the quilt.

5 Andrea J.

5 Horse girl 1
Bought it for the man of the house who does weekender hikes with family in summer it has great amount of pockets to store all his chargers and stuff. When it ’s fully packed it ’s not too heavy. And is a great starter pack.

5 Mack’s Dad
This is a great pack, very light and versatile. Comes with a nice rain cover that packs easily into the front pocket. The gray color is very cool and keeps the contents of the pack cool on hot sunny trails. I really liked the main front zipper to access what I needed quickly from the pack.

5 JeannaS
This is such a cool camping/hiking backpack, it has more pockets than I 'd know what to do with. There is a little pocket at the bottom that holds a waterproof cover. It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. I like that the main compartment can unzip to fit a sleeping bag or other bulky items. I have n't used it yet for hiking but it will be great for our next camping trip!

5 Selina
This bag is a great size and style. It seems to be good quality. Has multiple storage places. The padding on the belt makes it comfortable to wear. Will for sure fit all your hiking/exploring necessities.

5 Linda L
The bag is adequately sized for all hikes and most short camping trips. Despite its relatively small size, it boasts a number of impressive features. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

[ This pack was a long day hike upgrade for me and I chose it for 2 reasons. First was the Airspeed suspension which definitely keeps your back cool. Second was longer torso length. Along with all of the compression straps this a very comfortable and balanced pack. The stuff it pocket was an afterthought but is actually very handy. Extremely pleased with this purchase!

5 Diane
Great bag, but please release this in the Stardust Yellow Color as can be seen on the 18L and 26L versions. Thank you!

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. Never had to use the internal rainfly, but that was definitely a selling point for me. Highly recommend!

5 Amanda L.
[ I love this pack. I bought it to replace an older osprey pack that I completely wore out. I love the rigid stays on this backpack so that it sits upright when you put it on the ground and the air pocket helps keep it much cooler, a total bonus when you 're hiking in the hot and humid Smokies.

5 Oilcan
[ If you 're buying backpacks, Osprey is without a doubt one of the best brands. I currently own at least 5 packs of different sizes for trekking, day hiking and traveling. Osprey incorporates every detail one could want and backs up their work with a great warranty. Look no further!!

I 'm an archaeologist and just got back from a month in the field in rural southern Ethiopia. This bag was flown, tied to 4x4 trucks, and secured to a donkey for the last( and then first) leg of the trip and everything inside was safe, sound and fresh throughout. Tough bag. Love the reasonable size, simple easy- to- grab and heft handles, and waterproof protections. I 'm impressed.

Extreme heat, rain, sand, 3 typhoons, waves, everything extreme. It held up perfectly, kept my essentials secure and dry. It is also carry on size and lockable for international travel. All the carrying positions are well thought out, as I used them all in different scenarios. I will also be using this bag strapped down on the back of my motorcycle. We absolutely love this bag as our personal item( as long as it's not overstuffed, it fits easily under the seat) to bring our toddler's plane snacks, toys, tablet, and other travel essentials along with a smattering of items we want to keep on us instead of checking through. The water bottle holders are fantastic and fit a regular nalgene perfectly. For trips without the toddler, it makes a fantastic one- bag option for light travel. And we 're finding that we go to it for non- airplane travel too( taking snacks, raincoats, umbrellas, change of clothes, and subway activities on local rainy- day excursions).

[ I was very pleased although I have not been able to take the pack with me. I ’ m trying an airplane with its size and organization. I ’ m sure I ’ m going to thoroughly enjoy the use of it.

5 Fernanda R.
[ Perfect size, able to pack so much in it and comfortable to carry.

5 Rac00
The backpack is perfect size for a three or four day trip. Light and easy to carry.

5 Jennifer S.
[ The Daylite 35 is exactly what I was looking for to make traveling on some smaller planes less stressful. I also have a Porter 46, which I adore, but it is slightly too large to carry on some of the smaller, regional airlines that I frequent. The Daylite 35 is the solution!

As a smaller sized gal, I 've struggled with daypacks feeling too big and bulky. The 18L was my goldilocks and is such a great size for a casual hike or wandering around town! There are not a lot of pockets, but I actually prefer a simple pack. My favorite part of the pack is the chest and hip straps that make the bag easily adjustable.

5 AllisonL
This pack is the perfect trail companion! I 've gotten to take it out both XC skiing and on some winter hikes and it's the perfect size for an extra layer, snacks, first aid kit, and any other gear you might need on the trail. I love the magnet strip on the water bladder that nicely holds the bladder straw in space when not using it, and easy to drink out of while on the trail. The pockets are well thought out and easily accessible. I do wish the side water bottle pockets were a little larger to fit my nalgene, but definitely not a dealbreaker since it has the integrated bladder.

[ My sleeping bag does not pack down tightly. The `` compression '' bag that came with it did n't do much. So I thought I 'd try the Sea to Summit dry compression bag and voila! All I have to do is stuff the my sleeping bag in the Sea to Summit bag, tighten down and now it's half the size as before. Makes it easier to break camp in the morning and fits nicely on my rear pannier rack.

5 Steve M.
[ I 've been using evac compression bags for awhile, the new UL ones are great for backpacking and using in your backpack but they can be a bit fragile this Heavy Duty version is excellent. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. I 'll be picking up a few more in various sizes.

5 CHAD W.
[ These dry bags are awesome! First one I had lasted ~10 years. Use regularly throughout my kayak guiding season and they 're the absolute best. Durable and dry. Would not try anything else.

5 Vampyra
[ I just started hiking. I love being near water. It was recommended I get a dry bag for the incase. I got the Sea_to_Summit 8 liter dry bag. On my hikes not having to worry about items I carried helped me explore more areas especially in the water. I ’ ve used it a few times now and it had kept my stuff dry.

5 JEFF M.
[ Used to compress dry and wet clothing, towels, pillow, jackets. Excellent function and form. Highly recommend.

[ Compressed down sleeping bad easily; lightweight fabric, would recommend!

5 David S.
[ I have been using the dry bag for my sleeping bag for a little while now and I really like it. The compression is superior to the stuff sack my North Face One Bag came with so it takes up less room in my pack. It is also water resistant so I 'm able to keep my sleeping bag dry and therefore warm and safe. I then bought a larger bag to also keep a spare base layer in so I 'm always sleeping in the driest system possible. This spring has been vey wet so it's been extremely important I keep my gear dry. I feel confident hiking without a pack liner thanks to this dry bag. One tip I recommend is folding the opening back one fold as you store your contents as the lip of the bag has a tendency to bind on what you 're putting in the bag. Once I learned that I felt I was getting the maximum benefit from the dry bag. I also can not say enough good things about how easy it is to compress. This is one of the best pieces of gear I own.

5 Michael M.
[ This is great! I needed a compression sack for my sleeping bag and this doubles as a dry bag. I really like the venting fabric on the bottom. It's like the dry bags I was issued in the Marine Corps that had a vent on them which was exactly what I was looking for.

5 michael v.
[ Great quality product I own about 20 of them for myself and the family. When loading my moto bags these turn 7 days of soft gear into the pack size of 3 days. If your limited with space on your bike these are a game changer along with figuring out what can pack down in a regular stuff sack vs what should be compression bag My only gripe isn ’ t a big deal But the clips are a pain to flip around if they get twisted, it doesn ’ t effect the function AT ALL the bag still works as intended if the straps twisted it just bugs me and I have to use pliers to flip it around, again not a big deal just a minor thing

5 Marianna P.
[ This bag holds my huge winter sleeper and squishes it down to a manageable size. I really like how the bottom ventilated panel allows you to get most of the air out while still keeping the bag dry. This was definitely a good purchase.

Replaced a company provided OGIO laptop backpack after 2 years of heavy use with this one. More room, and more robust construction was the selling points and after several months of use am very pleased with the Carhartt laptop. Highly recommend for anyone who travels and uses their backpack in varied conditions.

It's very sturdy and spacious. I used it as my carry on bag for Egypt and could just about put all my clothes in it. I 'm glad I got it and can not wait to use it again!!!!

I got the gray one at dicks sporting goods. and i love it already. It fits my Asus gaming laptop that is 17. 8 inches. has room for 4 shirts, 2 jeans, underwear, socks, flannel in the middle pocket. Cables, mouse, gaming controller for the laptop in the front main compartment along with space for a notebook. The 2 smaller front pockets, the one on top fits a back up battery and charger for my phone. and the bottom front pocket fits my thermometer, screwdriver, food thermometer, 3 pens, permanent marker, wallet with the small mesh pocket for a small ibuprofen and some other meds i might need. needless to say, i am ready for anything at any time, weather im going to work for the day. or a weekend business trip. I have this one bag. If i remember, ill try and leave a one year review on how it held up

I can ’ t wait to visit the backcountry with this pack! The internal frame is sturdy and the padded back section offers ample cushioning and super. Two side pockets for water and a 65L internal capacity make this pack stand tall against more expensive brands.

5 Deedub3
This is a really large backpack with many compartments and quite a bit of adjustability. I was really impressed with how light this was compared to it's size. Lots of padding on the straps, and quite a few handles to lift it when you are n't wearing it. Overall I 'm very impressed.

5 Tennessee mom of two
This is a solid pack! Lots of thoughtful storage. Feels good on although I haven ’ t had time to take it out on a trail yet. There is a rain fly included and I really like the padding on the hip belt. Good quality and value all around.

[ dry bag seems to be of good quality. have not used it yet but I will leave addition information after that. the weight is good and better than what i used in the past for kayaking.

5 Bobby C.
