The Trekpad is very simple to use and completely avoids gym membership which is challenging during winter in Maine. I like the readouts which provide a variety of information throughout the workout. Assembly took about 4 hours but the instructions are well done and easy to follow. Instructions recommend two people work together but I was able to assemble it alone with no major problem. You need 2 people to assemble, since it is VERY HEAVY! It is a well- made machine. I followed the instructions exactly. Tighten bolts when instructed. I watched the assembly video, which was extremely helpful. The support line was friendly, professional and helpful. This machine is very well built, it runs very smoothly and is quiet. I would definitely recommend it.

I am a 71 year old female in fairly good shape. I love this machine! I 've been using it for a couple of weeks. Assembly was n't too bad but definitely much easier with two of us. Directions were very easy to follow. Took about an hour start to finish, and we were really glad we did n't pay someone to do it. It does n't take much space, which is great as I have it in my living room! It is a good workout, but not so hard that I could n't do it. Took a few days to get my stride on it, but now that I have it, I do 20 minutes in the morning, and 20 at night. I 'm only doing it as the lowest level on the manual setting but hoping to work up to a more challenging workout in time. But even if I never progress from where I 'm at, it still will be a good workout for this old lady!

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

This is a great machine! It's solid and high quality, and it has enough exercise options to let me mix it up. Doing the same 5 or 6 lifts every time gets old, and it's not ideal for training. The Centr 3 allows me to hit each muscle group in multiple ways so my workouts do n't stagnate. The Smith bar is my favorite aspect of the machine. I suffered some spinal injuries several years ago, and that has really limited my ability to keep fit and mobile. In particular, squats were out of the question. My legs still have some good strength, but I have nerve damage that compromises my ability to stabilize the lift. With the Centr 3, I can rely on the mechanical stability of the Smith bar, allowing me to start reversing the muscle loss from years of `` taking it easy. '' I know I 'll never be as strong as I was before my injuries, but with Centr in my corner, I 'll be a heck of a lot closer!

[ I 've owned the Centr 3 for almost a year and it has completely met my expectations! The fact that it includes the attributes of a Smith Machine means I can safely squat, bench and complete other exercises where being unable to finish the exercise might compromise my safety. It also provides so many options/variations for lifts that it does n't lend itself to that workout `` killer '' of falling into the same routine.

I just received this Body- Solid Leverage Squat machine Wednesday. It only took two days to be delivered. It comes in two boxes. One is long, contains the main frame pieces, and weighs around 100lbs. The other is fairly square and weighs around 70lbs. It took a number of hours to assemble, made worse by the minimalist instructions. All that is provided are parts and hardware lists, and blow ups of the parts and what goes where. I 'm used to having many different pages, with each focusing on a few areas at a time. It is what it is. With that being said, once together, this thing is built like a tank. It is an absolute blast to do correct form and safe squats on this gem. The value for the money is off the charts. I highly recommend this piece for anyone's home gym. Pure excellence.
