Its the same type of leg press Arnold used in the golden age, and its impossible to use the same amount of weight as you do on other leg presses. I can use 1200 for high reps at the gym i rarely go above 350 on this.... lol. its slightly similar to a hack squat... it isolates the quads and uses little hip. 1 month review- I 'm a long time runner& biker yet also a parent of 4 kids, so more and more I 'm loving the idea of exercising at home. This is the only outdoor- oriented product of its kind that I could find and it's built like the sturdy outdoor equipment at nearby parks. I 'm 6 '' 2 and 175 lbs. I 'm a motivated noobie and am pleased with its stability. I can grab onto the bar without jumping or over stretching, but I think I must bend my knees to hang or reach a full extension. After owning 2 indoor home pull up/dip stations, this one is the most sturdy and stable I have owned. I have it set up outside on my concrete back yard patio and it is stable enough for what I use it for that I do n't need to bolt it down. I lined the bottom with rubber garage door weather seal. I weigh 165 lbs. and use it regularly for weighted pull ups and dips, hanging leg/knee raises, toe to bar, windshield wipers, and oblique abdominal sit ups. However, if you plan on performing any plyometric exercises on it that require you to change your grips mid- air, then you should definitely bolt it down. As for the height, I 'm 5'10 '' and it works fine for me. If you 're over 6 feet, it might seem short if you do hanging leg/knee raises or pull ups( you would have to keep your knees bent). The only minor issues I had was that the shipping box came pretty beat up and some of the pieces came with a few scratches/chips. Also, the black caps were the only pieces that did n't seem to fit `` perfectly. '' They fit okay, but they kind of pop out a little occasionally. The diameter of the pull up bar is thicker than the typical ones you find in gyms and parks, which makes it more challenging, but I consider that a good thing. Keep in mind, this product does not have bars for neutral grip pull ups. The directions were clear and assembly was easy( all of the pieces/bolts fit well, I was able to hand tighten everything at first and then used the allen key to tighten everything at the end). As the directions say, do n't tighten anything until the last step. Overall, I 'm very satisfied with the product. I no longer need to lug my pull/dip chain belt and weight vest to the park to do my workouts and I can keep it outside with taking up indoor space.

I do n't power lift or use a lot of weight, but for the average person who's not going to lift more than 250- 300 pounds this is a good set up. It was easy to assemble and is plenty strong. I 'm 6- 3 and the pull up bar works great, even with an 8 ft ceiling. It came with a few scratches from being shipped, but they were minor, it's a weight bench so who cares. Since I live locally, I was able to just drive up and pick it up myself. The build took me about 2 hours and overall it is high quality and very sturdy. It does n't wobble when I lift or do pull- ups and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment I ordered works great. My one gripe would be the. 8 inch holes that are drilled into the 2X2 tubing. Most standard accessories use 1 inch holes, so I 'll have to wait for Sunny Fitness to release additional attachments( dip bars, landmine, etc.) in the future in order to get more out of the product. _x000D_ _x000D_ Still, it's a great piece of equipment for the price.

What an unbelievable value. This rack is rated for 1000 lbs, has good space and feels very stable. The 1000 lbs capacity is more than plenty. I can work up to 400 lb deadlift, 280 squat, 220 bench press without any issues. I purchased the lat pull down attachment and have been very satisfied.

The quality of the Marcy NS- 652 is fantastic. The size is easy to move from storage to use. The assembly is very easy too. I had to have my husband shorten the seat an inch. I am petite. Working remotely and sometimes sitting up to 10 hours a day, needed some thing to use when I ’ m not able to take the dog out for long walks. I broke four vertebrae a few years ago on slush so when it ’s cold and snowy, I ’ m staying indoors. Squats hurt my knees after a bit so I tried this. I absolutely love it! Delivery was super fast and well packed, booklet a little confusing, so I found assembly online which helped. If you look at both ends of the wires, you will see which side is the connector clip that you need. That was my hold up but I put it together myself in about 15 minutes. Since you are not supposed to use it longer than 15 minutes at a stretch, I jump on it in the morning and the evening and only do about five minutes each time. Within a couple of days, I felt a difference and that tiny bit of cellulite my thighs were getting starting to fade. It ’s only been a week. And I ’ m 63. This sits in the corner of my room and it ’s quiet. I prefer the one with the handle and I could set my phone in the little holder if I want to use music. Highly recommend. Sometimes Amazon has a great deal on it. But I got the Smart stepper in black( I did not want the mini or one with arm bands, I, like the handlebar stability). My husband liked it too!

The bar is easy to attach and take off for quick changes while exercising. My 11 year old son works out with me and it is even easy for him to make quick changes in height to the bar. It is secure and will not come off accidentally while doing pulling exercises like inverted rows. The diamond __quote__knurling__quote__ make it secure even though we still use chalk, but it feels good on the hands and is not at all abrasive. So it wont tear up your hands.
