I bought this gym NEW in 2001. It came with the Leg Press Station, and I added the MH30 Multi Hip Flexor Station, and bought the Body Solid Dip Station Tower as a separate free standing piece. The one station that I never felt really comfortable with was the Pectoral station. It always seemed awkward for me. I Loved, loved, loved the MH30 multi hip flexor station, though, just the best! The chest press was wonderful, especially loved it for mid rows. Very versatile for a lot of adjustments for a lot of exercise movements. My favorite was the late bar, bars and the triceps exercise that could be done there. Before buying I had looked around for about a year, trying gyms in the various fitness stores. I believe that I made the best choice for me with the Body Solid exm. 3000 LPS. A couple of neighbors helped to put it together for me, I added the MH30 about a week later, myself. I also used a couple of strength stretch bands with it, that I would loop around the upright of the Peck- Abdominal station.( I also really loved the ab- station, it really worked well for me) The bar on the floor for bracing feet for the low- row was also good to stand on for `` heel raises '' for developing the calves and ankles. There are so many more exercises that can be done with this gym machine that are shown with the brochures and poster that comes with it. It is also easy to clean and maintain, and after 15 years of daily use it still looked like new! I had a lot of admirers for this gym, which I had on the main floor of my house. Sadly, it had so many admirers that someone stole it from me this past December. A heartbreak. I would LOVE to get the same gym again, but unfortunately the hip flexor MH30 attachment/station is no longer made for this gym. The closest would be to get the G2B by Body Solid, which comes with its own small hip flexor attachment. The rest of the gym is not even close. Or, the next option would be to buy a separate Body Solid Pro Club SMH- 1500/2g for the hip flexor station... and buy a new or used Body Solid 3000 LPS. The Body Solid 3000LPS is the way to go, if you can find a used one with the MH30 Hip Flexor with it, grab it up, it is well worth it, and who knows... it MIGHT the one that was well used and loved by me!

I like this original Hex Bar much better than the bigger version because it takes up way less space with the 10 inch sleeves rather than 16 or more. The knurling is perfect and I love the 25mm grip plus the rigged sleeves so the plates do n't fall off easily when the bar is maxed out on weight. Some critics will complain that you ca n't add more than 500 pounds or so with 10 '' sleeves but unless you 're a strength athlete that weighs 250 or more I do n't see the need.

Since I live locally, I was able to just drive up and pick it up myself. The build took me about 2 hours and overall it is high quality and very sturdy. It does n't wobble when I lift or do pull- ups and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment I ordered works great. My one gripe would be the. 8 inch holes that are drilled into the 2X2 tubing. Most standard accessories use 1 inch holes, so I 'll have to wait for Sunny Fitness to release additional attachments( dip bars, landmine, etc.) in the future in order to get more out of the product. _x000D_ _x000D_ Still, it's a great piece of equipment for the price.

[ I bought this bench during Covid and it is actually incredible. Very sturdy and durable and with the added preacher attachment, and leg curl/leg extension attachment, it adds so much more. The bench gets some getting used to with exact positioning for the leg attachment but once you got the knack, it ’s incredible! The only drawback is that it does take up a good amount of space so when trying to bring the bench up to a cable machine to do lat pull downs, the front bottom of the bench was too long for an effective positioning. I do n't know if I got lucky or got some weird b- stock, but my bar is 84 '' which is 7'. But that's absolutely fine with me. That length allows for plenty of grip area: about 51 '' wide. So I have no problem with wider grip movements. The knurling of the grip area is( in my opinion) pretty aggressive- meaning it feels like it's a deeper, maybe even `` sharper '' grip. Some may like this, some may not. I prefer it. I do like that the center of the bar is NOT knurled. When doing any kind of clean or front squat, the center of the bar rests on the top of the chest and, to me, knurling the center scratches up the chest like crazy. If anyone is complaining about the bar not being an Olympic size, then those people apparently do n't know what `` standard '' means for barbells... they apparently also do n't look at photos of the product because there's no way you look at the pic of this bar and think it's Olympic size!;) It would be nice if a bar like this would include clamps/collars- those spring clamps are cheap, just include them! I had no problem getting my older standard size collars to fit but it seems that there are some people that have had to get larger clamps. Why a 'standard' collar does n't fit a 'standar' bar? I dunno. I mean, standard is supposed to mean standard, right? I double checked my bar, it looks be dead on 1 '' diameter. Hopefully people that purchase bar understand that it is not meant for really heavy Olympic lifts, it is not meant for rubber bumper plates that can be dropped. This is a basic bar made for home workout enthusiasts. I did go to the local store to purchase this bar, but they do n't carry this type in store... they only carry the bar with the `` screw on '' collars which I think are terrible( they always loosen). So they had me order it in store, online which was awesome because it ended up free shipping and arrived at my front door two days later!

Wanted a 1 inch bar, this one seems to perform. Havent' had the opportunity to really load it up yet, but it definitely feels good. Someone complained about clips, it did n't come with any, but mine DO fit it. If you need a 1 '' bar, then this one should be good.

I read the review about people having issues with building it. You just need two wrenches( 9/16 or 15mm) to tighten the screw and bult together. Note do not tighten all the screws until the whole thing is assembled. I am able to use 25lb weights on
