I bought this item recently. The Allen Key( Hex Key) included in this model was one size too small and did not help in any way during assembly. It will be loose and dangerous to use unless the correct hex key is used. Constructing this item ourselves took about an hour with two people. Why is the Allen key from the manufacturer not the correct size? The height of this stand is good, but weight and stability are indeed an issue. Anyone looking to purchase this stand should greatly consider looking at the user manual and adding/purchasing the additional weights to keep it in place during use. This item was NOT on the sales floor, but rather in a shipping container outside of the shop. It took asking for a salesperson to even show them what we were looking for( through online website of Dicks), rather than being able to shop freely and see the unit prior to purchase. Purchased new PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells( capable of expansion weights) and realized my old stand would not be large enough to fit the dumbbells if/when expansion weights are added, plus the old stand had no place to store the adder weights. This stand is built to accommodate both of those issues and works perfectly. Stand is extremely sturdy( no wiggle when I return dumbbells) and has enough room underneath to place other equipment. If I had to give one piece of critique, it would be that the adder weight holders could be just a bit deeper to more fully seat in the weights; even so, I ’ ve never had a real issue with functionality and never accidentally knocked an adder weight out of the stand. Functionality to price ratio is 100% worth it.

I 've had this stand for almost a year now. Very sturdy and have not had any problem storing my power blocks on it. I also like that there is room under the stand itself( I keep another set of dumbbells underneath). Note that I do not have the extra power block expansions( 70+ pounds), but there does appear to be plenty of room to accommodatee them, and the stand has never felt unstable in anyway with the base powerblock set.

I bought this during Covid after the gyms all closed. It's been great. I do n't power lift or use a lot of weight, but for the average person who's not going to lift more than 250- 300 pounds this is a good set up. It was easy to assemble and is plenty strong. I 'm 6- 3 and the pull up bar works great, even with an 8 ft ceiling. It came with a few scratches from being shipped, but they were minor, it's a weight bench so who cares. 1 month review- I 'm a long time runner& biker yet also a parent of 4 kids, so more and more I 'm loving the idea of exercising at home. This is the only outdoor- oriented product of its kind that I could find and it's built like the sturdy outdoor equipment at nearby parks. I 'm 6 '' 2 and 175 lbs. I 'm a motivated noobie and am pleased with its stability. I can grab onto the bar without jumping or over stretching, but I think I must bend my knees to hang or reach a full extension. This power tower looks beautiful brand new, and I 'm so pleased with it so far. Great work from stamina products.

The Stamina Power Tower works great and is a durable piece of equipment. It does well outside in the yard where I set it up. It could use a better grip on the pull up bar, but wrapping some tape around it takes care of that issue. 10/10 would recommend!

After owning 2 indoor home pull up/dip stations, this one is the most sturdy and stable I have owned. I have it set up outside on my concrete back yard patio and it is stable enough for what I use it for that I do n't need to bolt it down. I lined the bottom with rubber garage door weather seal. I weigh 165 lbs. and use it regularly for weighted pull ups and dips, hanging leg/knee raises, toe to bar, windshield wipers, and oblique abdominal sit ups. However, if you plan on performing any plyometric exercises on it that require you to change your grips mid- air, then you should definitely bolt it down. As for the height, I 'm 5'10 '' and it works fine for me. If you 're over 6 feet, it might seem short if you do hanging leg/knee raises or pull ups( you would have to keep your knees bent). The only minor issues I had was that the shipping box came pretty beat up and some of the pieces came with a few scratches/chips. Also, the black caps were the only pieces that did n't seem to fit `` perfectly. '' They fit okay, but they kind of pop out a little occasionally. Keep in mind, this product does not have bars for neutral grip pull ups. The directions were clear and assembly was easy( all of the pieces/bolts fit well, I was able to hand tighten everything at first and then used the allen key to tighten everything at the end). As the directions say, do n't tighten anything until the last step. Overall, I 'm very satisfied with the product. I no longer need to lug my pull/dip chain belt and weight vest to the park to do my workouts and I can keep it outside with taking up indoor space.

Nice solid rack. Easily assembled; took about 10 minutes. You will need basic hand tools... a couple adjustable wrenches at minimum... adjustable wrench and socket set is better.
