This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). Finally, the plastic case is a nice touch if you need to put the weights away when the grand kids come over for a play date.

While looking at options at my local store, I spotted the Fitness Gear 40 Lb Adjustable Dumbbell Set. There was only one set on the floor, and it was sealed. I bought it without seeing the contents. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The components are nicely machined and painted or chromed, the set is versatile for a few weight combinations, and the carry case is a bonus. The collars go on the bars smoothly and easily. There are no sharp edges anywhere. This is a great set of adjustable dumbbell weights.

This is a great gym for the price. Everything functions smooth and quiet. Fits nicely in a small corner( 27 inches of the side wall and 3 inches off the back wall). Assembly took about 4 hours but the instructions are well done and easy to follow. Instructions recommend two people work together but I was able to assemble it alone with no major problem. After I unboxed these I found the quality was very high. The clips that come with this are very heavy duty and high quality. Pro: I have only had the bench a couple of weeks, but in that time I have found it a very sturdy and versatile piece of equipment. The adjustable back allows me to work my chest from multiple angles, hit my rear shoulder and back with chest supported raises and dumb bell rows, and the leg attachment lets me finish off my legs after a squat work out. Con: The major issue I have with the bench is that it sits kind of high off of the ground and I have kind of short legs, so I have a hard time getting a good leg drive on my bench.

First, the instructions for putting this together were first class. They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short( 5' 3 '') and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. However, perhaps a tall person would be inconvenienced by that. I can certainly reach the leg curl rollers, so it works fine.

This piece of machinery is amazing, I have yet to go to the gym after I got this. Works great and has pretty much everything you need besides leg attachments but can do squat and deadlifts so its not a necessary thing. Overall this Cage is amazing and very sturdy. I purchased the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 set this previous Thursday. I was originally looking for the fixed set of straight and curl bars, similar to the ones at the commercial gyms. When I came across the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 I knew this was the route to go for space- savings in my home gym!
