I do n't power lift or use a lot of weight, but for the average person who's not going to lift more than 250- 300 pounds this is a good set up. It was easy to assemble and is plenty strong. I 'm 6- 3 and the pull up bar works great, even with an 8 ft ceiling. It came with a few scratches from being shipped, but they were minor, it's a weight bench so who cares. It's held up very well, a great value for the money.

I almost did n't give this a try because some of the reviews said neoprene weights wo n't fit on the sides... glad I gave it a try anyways. I was able to fit my 10/12/15lbs neoprene weights on the side. The 10lbs just made it, 8lbs and lower wo n't fit at all. The 2lbs are a bit too short to fit properly on the crossbars but sit at an angle on it fine( I was n't surprised about that). Enough room to fit two more pairs of dumbells on the crossbars for a total of 10 pairs including the 2lbs. Easy to put together and fits nicely in my small workout area. I pushed it a round a little bit and it's a little wobbly but did n't seem like it would fall over. As mentioned in another review I would be still be careful/avoid small kids leaning on it.

I bought this a month ago and was able to assemble it pretty quickly by myself and then load it up with 424+ lb of dumb bells and kettle bells to clean up my home gym area. Working as described and I 'm pleased so far. Nice solid rack. Easily assembled; took about 10 minutes. You will need basic hand tools... a couple adjustable wrenches at minimum... adjustable wrench and socket set is better. Have been using the rack for a week and find it to be fine for its job. My dumbbells are 10- 35#s, but I have no doubt the rack could handle 50's.

I originally went to Dicks to purchase the Ethos 5 post weight plate holder but when I came across this new 6 post version I knew it would be perfect for my space. This plate tree is very well built. The solid yet compact design is a great space saver and it holds my bumper plates with ease. I currently have 460lbs loaded on this rack and it could easily hold more. The casters roll well even while loaded up with plates, and the ability to move the unit around your space is a nice feature that I didn ’ t originally think was a must have item for me, but now that I have it, I would never go back to a non- rollable rack. It is incredibly convenient. The packaging was decent, but could probably be improved upon. They do make use of styrofoam and foam sleeves, but the contents inside the package were able to shift around some. I found one or two very small scratches on the base of my rack which isn ’ t a big deal for me at all, but I do think the packaging is worth mentioning as it could possibly lead to potential damages during shipping for others. Installation is an absolute breeze. The rack does come with installation instructions, but this can easily be put together without any guidance. Only tools needed are a hex socket and a wrench and the entire rack can be assembled in about 5- 10 minutes. My entire garage gym has been designed around the ability to save space and double utilize the area efficiently. This rack by Ethos was the perfect solution to help me stay organized and minimize the footprint needed to store my weights. Highly recommended!
