I read the review about people having issues with building it. You just need two wrenches( 9/16 or 15mm) to tighten the screw and bult together. Note do not tighten all the screws until the whole thing is assembled. I am able to use 25lb weights on

Sturdy and a neat way to organize your barbells and plates. Easy to setup and a real space saver. Love the finish and feel of the piece, the Allen screws securing the peg sleeves are prone to loosening with use but really not that big of an issue. The included spring clamps are a plus and I 'm also using them to keep the plates secured when using the leg developer attachment on my adjustable bench. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a space saving plate and barbell rack

The one thing I wondered about prior to purchasing that is n't listed in the description is how long it is to determine how much it will hold. There are 2 weight racks, each is 28 1/2 '' long. We have 2 sets of heavier weights on one shelf and 3 sets of smaller, lighter weights on the bottom shelf.

I did n't have a lot of room, however, I have numerous cast iron dumbbells. This product addresses my needs in this regard, completely. It's sturdy, was n't excessively priced and looks very professional. For the lowest level shelf, I have( 2) 55's,( 1) 50 and( 2) 45's; midlevel is( 2) 40's,( 2) 35's and( 2) 15's; top shelf( 2) 30's,( 2) 25's and( 2) 20's for a total of 580lbs. No weight capacity was listed on any of the literature that came with the rack, but, the current load does n't seem to be a problem. It could probably handle more. The product was delivered without any damage. If you need more capacity, purchasing( 2) of these racks would take up less space than some of the larger racks. If you have a lot of dumbbells that clutter your workout area, it's tough to go wrong with buying this rack. I have high expectations related to my purchases and I could n't be happier.

My concern when I purchased this product was the durability and the `` assembly required ''. Once I opened the box and saw the instructions as well as the product, I was pleasantly surprised. I assembled it with ease and loaded my dumbells on and was thoroughly impressed with the durability of this rack. Not for the Review: I was unable to successfully purchase this product online due to issues on the Dick's website. I went into the store and the Dick's associate assisted me purchasing it online while in the store. However when I was trying to purchase the product online there was a 40% discount in progress. When I purchased it... a couple of days later, this 40% discount was not available therefore I had to pay the full amount. I was not pleased with this.

I originally went to Dicks to purchase the Ethos 5 post weight plate holder but when I came across this new 6 post version I knew it would be perfect for my space. This plate tree is very well built. The solid yet compact design is a great space saver and it holds my bumper plates with ease. I currently have 460lbs loaded on this rack and it could easily hold more. The casters roll well even while loaded up with plates, and the ability to move the unit around your space is a nice feature that I didn ’ t originally think was a must have item for me, but now that I have it, I would never go back to a non- rollable rack. It is incredibly convenient. The packaging was decent, but could probably be improved upon. They do make use of styrofoam and foam sleeves, but the contents inside the package were able to shift around some. I found one or two very small scratches on the base of my rack which isn ’ t a big deal for me at all, but I do think the packaging is worth mentioning as it could possibly lead to potential damages during shipping for others. Installation is an absolute breeze. The rack does come with installation instructions, but this can easily be put together without any guidance. Only tools needed are a hex socket and a wrench and the entire rack can be assembled in about 5- 10 minutes. My entire garage gym has been designed around the ability to save space and double utilize the area efficiently. This rack by Ethos was the perfect solution to help me stay organized and minimize the footprint needed to store my weights. Highly recommended!
