I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.

Where did I take my new shoes? First trip is to Portugal, including beaches, cobblestone streets, hiking on gravel and stone paths. And yes, a bit of water to test the waterproof claim. Warm and dry- but not too warm. They breathe better than past waterproof shoes( including from Merrell) I have had. Fine for wearing all day in the sun. Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

They look amazing and feel even better when I swapped out the stock insole for my personal insoles. They run a little narrow so I went 1/2 size up. Stiff soles at first but after a couple rounds they soften up a little and they always have great traction. No slipping on any wet grass as I walk down a hill or out of a sand trap. My feet feel great( and dry) even after a full round of 18. Plus they look like the OG Tailwinds from the 90s that I wanted since I was a kid!

[ Have the Trail 2650 in wide size and needed new heavier boots. Since the Trail fit me well I tried the Panorama and am happy so far- I did 18k steps in one day without any break- in and had no issues. I find these very comfortable, fairly light, and excellent fit for those with wide feet. I have been happy with durability of the Trail so I 'm assuming that will be the case with these as well. About the only quirk is the tongue and lacing- it did take me some trial and error to get the right placement of tongue under the laces. Other reviewers have mentioned it so it's real, but in my opinion it just takes a little tweaking to find the right lace tension& tongue placement.
