I had to jump through hoops sending them pictures, taking them to the drop off location they chose because they wouldn ’ t refund until they got the shoes back. I took this on my first trip to the western states and used them hiking in Estes State Park and Yellowstone, my legs were sore from the inclines and walking long before my feet ever where! They ’ re lightweight but have plenty of cushioning to make them comfortable to wear for extended periods and an array of activities. These shoes have plenty of bounce that make it easy to keep momentum and helps with posture. I love the sleek look of these, despite having a thicker sole. As a mom, I need support in my shoes to keep me from feeling fatigued at the end of a long day on my feet and these do just that! And who doesn ’ t love a stylish and functional shoe?! The only thing I would change on these is to have a slightly longer shoelace, and that ’s super simple, cheap fix. I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it 's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

I do n't mind these boots but they feel more like a winter boot than a rainboot. They are quite heavy for a rainboot and they rub on your lower calf/upper ankle if they 're not snug. I wish I would have went down a half size or worn thicker socks. You must wear taller socks so it does n't rub on your skin. I ’ m usually an 8 in boots but the 7 worked for me better. I have a narrow heel and the my feet were sliding out of the 8s. They ’ re not extremely warm, but they are warmer than a regular casual boot and they are waterproof! I ’ ve worn them outside when there ’s melting snow and my feet stay dry. I just wouldn ’ t buy them as your “ snow boot ”, but they ’ re a great, cute boot for cooler days. I ’ m a teacher who has to be outside quite a bit and I wear them to work all the time.

Great hiking shoes. I love that it is easy to clean the smudges off when I go walking on trails. The soles are a bit hard and will need to get used to. There are no need to tie up the laces which I like since it won ’ t come loose. You can still adjust them though.
