I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. I have been wearing these boots for the past five months and since day these boots have been the most comfortable boots ever. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. These boots have been through mud, snow, ice and I have had no problems with traction or warmth. I have had a 800+ pound hot rolled steel bar( scaled from the foundry and roughed outside covering) fall and give a glancing blow to my left heel and there wasn ’ t any marks on the heel of the boot. Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. These are my favorite boots. I did n't treat them gently and i worked on non- skid for years in them. I finally wore the seams out and the sole started to separate but that was after years of being a great boot. Very comfortable and durable.

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and immediately appreciated the craftsmanship of the stitching and leather. If you were born in Texas then you need a pair. It's that simple. Also dont make the mistake of wearing them 10 hours the first day when they 're not broken in.

A little heavy. But after about a 70hrs work week in them, I had gotten used to them and couldn ’ t even tell. They are comfortable they keep water out and my feet dry, I tied the laces once when I got them and have been able to easily slip them on and off which I like. as long as they last at least a year I would purchase them again.

I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. I do heavy construction and spend all my time in a machine or in the dirt and rocks and have been unable to find a higher quality pair yet.

First off, in normal tennis/running shoes I am a 13 wide. Order a size down. Customer service was super responsive and helpful in exchanging sizes. The welt on this boot is beautiful, the leather breaks in very well within the first 1- 2 days of wearing. I am looking forward to using these for years to come.
