I have been looking for a good puffer jacket for my upcoming trip to Paris. The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. Unlike some puff jackets, they can be very heavy and bulky. The jacket is ideal for 35+ degree weather or a little under if you layer well underneath. Also, keep in mind my 35- degree weather may feel warmer to others who live in areas that get lots of snow and wind. I have n't had the chance to wash it, but the material seems like it will hold up well in a normal wash cycle. I think I may have needed to go to a smaller size, I had plenty of space in the jacket zipped.

This jacket is excellent for the chilly early mornings of a Minnesota fall. I was n't too excited about the color choices available but fortunately for me the orange I ordered came looking darker and more burnt than the picture and I love it. Body fits nice but is not too tight. In regards to customer service, I had to exchange for a different size. The customer chat was initially very unhelpful and unpleasant but ended up processing the exchange.

[ I came across this jacket when searching for a synthetic alternative to my down jacket for backpacking. And while it's maybe just a little too heavy and bulky for my ultralight goals, I bought it because I liked it so much in general( tried in on in a store, bought it on Mossejaw). And now I wear it anytime the weather's a little chilly. It's warm, a great fit-- not too tight, not too baggy-- and the material just feels great. I 've also had it out in light rain for half an hour or so, and nothing soaked in. So it really is at least a little water repellent. Only con is, I do n't like the double, left- handed zipper, but I 'll get used to it. And who knows, maybe I 'll end up bringing it on a backpacking trip, since I like it so much. Glad I bought it during the big sale!

A great feeling warm jacket! I have a 40 '' chest, 34 '' waist, 160 lbs and the medium fits great. Have worn in temps ranging from mid 30s to mid 40s and have been warm with just a cotton long sleeve under it. Love the stretch of the durable fabric and the matte green color.
