I get hot very easily. Harder for me to properly ventilate while outdoors in the colder seasons. This hoodie( while thinner than my fleece) kept me comfortable without getting hot and when going indoors did n't overheat me. I have yet to find a hoodie that compares. I bought this in Tigerlily Orange on sale to use as a casual jacket for spring/summer, particularly when it's cooler out in the evenings. I ordered my usual size M and I love the way it fits- it's a bit oversized/boxy throughout the body but in a good way. I love that it has a hood and that it's got a DWR finish so I do n't have to worry if I get caught in the rain while walking to work. The color is not as saturated as shown in the pics. I 'd describe it as more of a softer creamsicle color rather than a tigerlily orange. But I still love it. I think it's a great value for the sale price I paid of$ 118. Nothing against the jacket but not sure I 'd pay full price of$ 199 for it.

I love Patagonia products and initially purchased the Houdini, but felt it was too thin and not quite as durable. I am so happy with this product in terms of quality, versatility, and color. Highly recommend. In terms of sizing, I went with a medium to be able to wear a layer under it, but would have gone small if I didn ’ t want to have room for one. For reference I am about 5 ’ 10 ” and slender.
