If you 're an in- between size person, I 'd recommend sizing down. Notice that the model is 6' 0 '' and wearing a medium. I did n't at first and ordered a large so ended up exchanging for a smaller size. The exchange was super easy. I sent my jacket in on a Monday and had the exchange back the same week.

I love my Cielo rain Jacket. I 'm from Malaysia, and we have crazy monsoon rain here. After the 2nd day I received the jacket, I was headed out to my first Salsa class, and it was pouring. I needed to make it there in time as it was a 40 min drive from home, but with rain and traffic, I had to use the motorbike. I thought to myself, now this would be a Super Test for the jacket. In the pouring rain, the jacket kept me warm, and rain did not enter through my cuffs which i really appreciate. Because my older jacket, wind would often ride up my sleeves. I was also grateful that my salsa shirt( not! it was more of an outdoorsie one) was dry. This would mean water did not leak through the zippers, even with wind and splashes from other vehicles. My only concern was the front pocket where i kept my phone at my chest, was very damp. Something for me to prepare next time would be a little zip lock bag to ensure important things in the pocket stay dry. On arrival, my new Salsa friends was impressed i got through the storm, and had a dry shirt on! But they laughed at my soaking wet jeans.

I haven ’ t tried it out in the rain but I did wear it for a day and can say that it does keep you warm! I love the pit zippers they allow you to breathe and conceal at the same time! Love the colors my only peeve is that a large is truly a large lol. If you want to wear a sweatshirt under a rain jacket this is perfect if you wear a medium size shirt youll want to up it in size only if you plan wearing something bulky under it if not, then stay to the size you wear. The other reason I got the large is my arms are longer than average and my shoulders broader than average as well! I wish it was tapered at the waist line a little bit but overall it ’s a cute jacket! I got it to take on a cruise in the UK from Amsterdam! 12 days of fun I hope!
