Purchased these to save space and they are exceeding my expectations. Easy to change weight and take up so little space. I will likely be purchasing the expansion weights as well.

I ended up returning these as I decided against the full home gym, but would have kept them if not. Compared to the Bowflex adjustable these are more compact. The shape seems odd at first, but overall they felt very solid and easy to use.

Good set of dumbbells that replace what would have been a lot of weights. Good, compact design means they do n't take up a lot of space in a small home gym, which is great as that's what I 've got. Comfortable to hold for me( I have small hands) and easy to use to change weights. I got these specifically because they offer 2. 5lb increments across the weight spectrum: especially as you go up in weights, sometimes adding 5lbs per hand can feel like just too much for me, so the 2. 5lb option was fantastic. That said, they are a bit on the pricey side: more so than the other options, and they 're not expandable, unfortunately. I knew that when I bought them, and I do n't think it 'll be an issue for me for a while, but it is something to consider before purchasing.

When Covid hit in 2019 my wife and I stopped going to the local gym. We decided to build our own gym at home, since we had a large loft space in our townhome. We set it up with one wall as a mirror, an adjustable bench, pull up bar, rowing machine and power blocks sport 50 EXP with the stand. This is literally all you need to stay in shape, or to get into better shape. I had to wait several months to get the power blocks, because they were on backorder. But I absolutely love them and so does my wife. They are extremely versatile and take up very little room. The cost may seem a bit high for a set of dumbbells, but they are very well made, and are worth every penny as far as I ’ m concerned. I don ’ t need to look like a bodybuilder, but if that is your intent these dumbbells are expandable up to 90 lbs. I would consider them one of the best investments I ’ ve ever made concerning my health. If you are thinking about getting a set of adjustable dumbbells, definitely check these out!

Quick and easy to change weights, more comfortable to use than I thought they would be.

I 've owned the classic PowerBlock 5- 45 set and was finally ready to upgrade. I owned the old set for over 12 years and I can tell this set is made of the same quality with some good upgrades. The new set fits have a contoured handle which is awkward at first but helps develop better grip strength. Cylinder weights do make a little noise while using and offers a slight imbalance but this week benefit me in the end I 'm sure. All in all, a great purchase and look forward to abusing these weights.

I had an old set of classic PowerBlock 90s that I sold during the pandemic for just a little less than what I paid for these new with both expansion sets. The improvements made in the 16- 17 years since I bought the last set are obvious and well thought out. The grips are contoured now so that they are thicker in the middle compared to the ends. For my big hands, this makes them easier to grip. The mechanism they have used to lock the weight into place is different, too. The old one was single prong metal. The new one is double- prong plastic. It seems like the new one is smoother, but we 'll see how long they last. Like I said the last set I got was a long time ago and they were holding up strong. Overall, I think the initial quality has improved. We 'll see how it is from a durability standpoint over time.

I bought these for my home gym. So far, so good... seems like a quality item. Both my husband and I use them. His hands are large and mine are small, and neither one of us has any issues with them.
