This is beautiful! I did n't measure, but it's very sticky, great for hot yoga. It's also very beautiful to look at, both sides. The beach is one of my happy places, so it makes sense to use during yoga. Thank you!!

I was looking for a sturdy mat with better stickiness than the others I 've owned. This one cost significantly more than those and it's a good investment. I like that it's thicker too.

5 Har Har
Love the mat thickness and overall feel. Still hard to roll up.

5 juancuit
I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

I am just starting out with Yoga and this mat is perfect. It ’s beautifully simple and is really forgiving. It ’s also light and takes up minimal room. I would definitely buy it again.

5 Gaumondd
This pad had great grip so that my feet do not slide. It is dense and great for yoga

5 JessicaM1126
I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this mat is. I would definitely buy another!

5 Bridget
I love this yoga mat. My only complaint is that it's actually 5mm thick. The description says it's 6mm. But the last picture shown you can see that the packaging says it is 5mm, I just did n't notice that when I bought it. I do n't know what's up with that. Other than that I 'm happy with the product. It's super cute and good quality.

5 Aslan
It is great! Definitely would recommend this! Love it.

5 Chacolex
I have had a version of this mat and thickness for over 15 years using it on and off for classes and workouts. I just go this for my husband since his was worn out. Same great quality, great design, would highly recommend.

I LOVE this mat! Perfect thickness for my practice.

5 AnneClearwater
I just started yoga twice a week. Mat is light enough when I 'm carrying it. It does n't slip on the floor during class, comfy, my knees do n't hurt. My instructor advised to hand it unrolled for a few days, and that foam smell vanished. I 'm very satisfied.

Good mat. I got the gofit yoga mat pretty quickly which was awesome. It's really comfortable and easy to transport. I enjoy using it.

it is very comfy. I think I could take a nap on it and be fine when I wake up. The only problem I have is that it can get a little slippery when I start to sweat. maybe a little tweak in the top coat could make a slightly more sticky finish.

Frequently Asked Questions For Best Value Yoga Mat

When searching for a yoga mat that offers the best value, consider factors such as thickness, material, and texture. A thicker mat can provide more cushioning and support, while materials like PVC or TPE can enhance durability and grip. Additionally, a reversible design may offer versatility in style and functionality. Look for mats that are easy to clean and maintain, as this can contribute to their longevity and overall value.

The right thickness for a yoga mat often depends on your practice style and personal comfort. Thicker mats, typically around 6mm, provide extra cushioning and support, making them suitable for practices that involve more floor work or for those who prefer added comfort. Conversely, thinner mats, around 4mm, offer better stability and connection to the ground, which can be beneficial for balance-focused practices. Consider your experience level and the types of poses you frequently perform to help guide your choice.

High-quality yoga mats are often made from materials such as natural rubber, PVC, TPE, and jute. Natural rubber provides excellent grip and cushioning, while PVC is durable and easy to clean. TPE is a more eco-friendly option that offers good support and traction, and jute mats combine natural fibers with other materials for a unique texture. Each material has its own benefits, catering to different preferences and practices.

Beginners may benefit from yoga mats that offer extra cushioning and stability, as these features can enhance comfort during practice. Mats with a thickness of around 6mm provide a good balance of support and grip, making them suitable for various poses. Additionally, mats with a textured surface can help prevent slipping, which is particularly helpful for those new to yoga. Many beginners also prefer mats that are lightweight and portable for easy transport to classes or outdoor sessions.

To assess the durability of a yoga mat before purchasing, consider the material it is made from, as some materials are more resilient than others. Look for mats that have a thicker construction, as they often provide better longevity and resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, read reviews or product descriptions that mention the mat's performance over time, including its ability to maintain grip and cushioning after repeated use. Finally, check for any warranties or guarantees that may indicate the manufacturer's confidence in the product's durability.

Reversible yoga mats offer versatility by providing two different surfaces, allowing users to choose the texture and grip that best suits their practice. This feature can enhance comfort and stability during various poses, accommodating different preferences or styles of yoga. Additionally, having a reversible option can extend the life of the mat, as users can alternate sides to reduce wear and tear. Overall, a reversible yoga mat can enhance the overall experience by offering more options for practice.

The texture of a yoga mat plays a crucial role in providing grip and comfort during practice. A textured surface can enhance traction, helping to prevent slipping during various poses, which is especially important in dynamic or sweaty sessions. Additionally, the right texture can contribute to overall comfort by offering a more cushioned feel underfoot, allowing for better stability and support. Choosing a mat with the appropriate texture can enhance your overall yoga experience.

When choosing a yoga mat for outdoor use, consider the mat's thickness and material, as these factors can affect comfort and stability on uneven surfaces. Look for mats that offer good grip to prevent slipping, especially on grass or sand. Additionally, durability is important, as outdoor conditions can wear down materials more quickly. Finally, consider the mat's weight and portability, ensuring it is easy to carry and transport to your outdoor location.

Yes, there can be differences in performance between various yoga mat brands. Factors such as material, thickness, texture, and grip can influence how a mat feels during practice and how well it supports different poses. Some mats may offer better cushioning or stability, while others may be designed for enhanced portability or eco-friendliness. It's important to consider your personal preferences and practice style when choosing a mat.

The average lifespan of a yoga mat with regular use typically ranges from one to three years, depending on the material and frequency of use. Mats made from higher-quality materials may last longer, while those used more frequently or in intense conditions may wear out more quickly. Regular cleaning and proper storage can also help extend the life of a yoga mat. It's important to monitor the condition of the mat and replace it when it shows signs of significant wear or loss of grip.
