I bought this hat almost 10 years ago. It keeps all the rain away, keeps the water off the back of my neck and down into my clothing, the webbing inside keeps it so my head does n't get sweaty. This is a fantastic hat. My daughter borrowed my hat when she volunteered at a wildlife rescue and without in the pouring rain all the time cleaning the enclosures. I kept the rain out of her eyes and off her back. I ca n't say enough about this fantastic hat. I 'm a woman but find that men's hats usually fit a little better. This hat is quite large though. I love Sun Day afternoon hats! This is my second, and it's reversible. I 'm a small- headed adult and the hat fits perfectly. I 'm always glad to have the strap to keep it on in the wind, because even a small breeze lifts other hats off.

I pair this visor with earmuffs when I wear my parka with the hood up. I wanted to shade my face and eyes from the sun. I needed a visor that did n't wrap half way around my head and was flexible enough to let my parka hood come around my face. This visor is perfect for that. The wide ban also keep my hair out of my face.

I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Another way visor would be even better is to have a terrycloth lining on the inside of the headband.

Bought this hat for my summer vacation. I wish it came in more colors. I love it because the brim is not overly wide, as many hats are. I bought the soft dusty rose color. Its really pretty, but would love to have it in cream or teal too.

Have had 2 for a year. Love everything about them. Came back intent to buy at least one more but still no depth in color selection. Please bring in more colors including some bright colors and a classic white. color selection, sadly. Please introduce classic white and variety of bright colors. Who does n't love a great bucket hat??

Great hat……but…. Just finished a Rick Steves Ireland tour. Wore it a ton. Everyone wanted to know where I got my bucket hat. I told them, but said, don ’ t get too excited because the color selection is poor. Sadly, colors are same as when I bought mine. Many tourists were wearing various bucket hats- they are clearly popular. Sunday Afternoon should come out with many colors! Eggplant purple, a dark emerald, navy, maybe a lovely shade of sage, etc.. not pink or lavender! AND, make the hat in men ’s, too, if they haven ’ t already. My husband wants one but won ’ t buy black because it ’s the one I have. Can ’ t be twins!
