Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

I have these in tan and black, my absolute go- to winter boot. I do not wear socks, I just step in and go, leaving the laces loose. They fit perfectly with skinny jeans, rolled up flannel lined jeans, my athleta jeggings, and there is no more comfortable boot I 've ever owned, and that list includes the Ugg Adirondack III. I do n't go trapsing through my wet backyard or deep snow in these, though I have shoveled my walkway in them( I live an hour north of NYC), but for fall or winter lunch dates, absolutely. Errands, always, and I throw them in the back of my car when I play tennis and slip into them after. I wear these around the house when it's cold like they 're slippers. They are not very structured, and do not have a ton of arch support, but they are cushiony and for me, with the dreaded bunions, no pressure points, no tightness, no stiffness, just total comfort.
