I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. I have bought them for my helpers too.

I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i 've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i 'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

I 've had my Georgia boots about a month- I thought I 'd have to wear them a little each day until they were broken in- by the 2nd hour I had them on, I forgot that I was wearing new boots! From jumping on& off tractors to riding the Harley there's no need to change shoes. First and foremost, customer service. It is OUTSTANDING! I ordered a size 10 boot online, which is my normal size. When I received them, they were real tight on me. I figured they would loosen up after a couple of days. They did n't. Because I wore them for 3 days, I figured that customer service would n't take them back. To my surprise, no questions asked, they not only took them back, but gave me the right advise and I reordered a larger size 10. 5. Customer service then noted for my file, that if these did n't fit, I could send them back again and they would work on another solution for me. I was stunned. Talk about pleasing the customer, they went beyond what I ever expected. Other than my initial expense, there was no additional cost for sending back or receiving the new pair. I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. These boots are of the upmost comfort and quality, hands down my favorite pair to throw on and let life take me to where I need to go. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. I work on my feet all day and never once did I experience blisters or cramps or any such ailment. The leather is quality and solid, something only Durango can provide. Their scuffed and mud crusted and yet they still have that classic leather smell like they just came out of the box. Love these boots, I went true to size though they are a bit more narrow than I 'm used to. I might order me a second pair in the wide to accommodate for thicker socks but ca n't recommend them enough.
