Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use( I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made.( This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

A good place would be when I purchased these bad boys during my time working at Cabela's 4 years ago. Once I placed these glorious looking fiends on a display rack, I knew I had to have them. And boy am I glad I do. These have been my year- round daily boot, for literally all weathers in Colorado, and I wear them literally every day. The leather has worn in so amazingly, that I forget I 'm wearing them sometimes. I have worn the soles down to being almost flat, now, and have swapped out insoles for some Meindl ones, but man, insoles only do so much. I wear these hiking, Jeeping, running errands, going outside in general, these are what I want on my feet. I have worn these at several jobs, ranging from my mechanic work, to the tarmac as ground crew for an airline, and they are still solid, no tears, rips, anything!( there is some stuffing from the belly of the airplanes when I was stuck on my knees, but it does matter to me, they still look great!) They are such amazing boots, that I base any other boot I try on them. And none have compared yet. You still debating whether to get them or not? I ’ ve worn these almost every day since getting them. They definitely stretch out a bit so I do wish I had gotten a 7 instead of an 8 but they are still super comfortable.( For reference I wear an 8 in Vans, 7. 5 in Nike Blazers). True to size.. Warm, waterproof, stylish and oh so comfortable. There is enough room to add a mid weight sock if needed. I wish they had more colors in this style so I could buy them.

I bought my first black and white Kinetic boot several years ago, and they have been my go- to boot for snow and cold weather. This newer model has a wider footbed- which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. My old ones are still going strong, but when this newer model went on sale I could n't resist. I usually order my regular size 7 in Sorel boots, but, as per a previous review, I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thicker socks. These fit great and feel fantastic!

I have a very high arch, so can never get my foot into a slip- on boot. The side zipper on these boots make it easy for me to put these on, Super warm( it's 7 degrees here today) and so comfy! I am have to order another pair as they are now on sale!
