The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. [ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! Construction wise I 'm concerned about how hard they are to pull on- I 'm afraid they 'll wear out at the heel early.

These are the first pair of boots I ’ ve been able to comfortably walk in, even without socks. Always wore long socks to buffer my ankles, but these are comfortable enough to wear barefoot!
