The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. if you ’ re looking for cute winter boots that will look good with anything get these! i had such a hard time finding winter boots that were functional that i actually liked the look of and these are it! i haven ’ t worn them in weather yet but the tread seems great and they seem warm but probably need good thick socks in serious cold. very comfy! i ’ m usually a 6- 6. 5 and got a 6. 5 but they are a little narrow, so maybe size up if you ’ re between sizes.

Buy these shoes every year for our daughter. I believe this will be her 4th pair. They keep her feet warm& dry. Our temp here in the PNW doesn ’ t get too low( lowest around 20 degrees), so I can ’ t vouch for how it would do in the single digits. They fit true to size. They are a bit stiff in the ankles the 1st day of wear, but still comfy. I have the adult version& love how cozy& comfortable they are for hiking in the snow or cold rain. I buy them a half size larger than I do even my regular boots( 1/2 size up for semi- thick socks, full size up for extra thick socks) to accommodate very thick& fuzzy Columbia socks( so cozy!), but our daughter doesn ’ t like to wear super thick socks, so I buy her regular size. These boots can withstand a lot of use without showing much wear. Each year we give away her outgrown boots& they barely look used. They are somewhat heavy, but to us they just feel stable( great ankle support& solid traction for mud& snow& cushy insoles!)& not cumbersome.

These boots do run a little small, so after returning a couple of pairs( they were out of stock in stores, so we had to have them shipped each time)- we finally got it right. He is a normal size youth 5. 5- and we ended up with a size youth 7 for these boots. We went with the all black. Quality boots and `` fuzzy '' inside like my son wanted. They are a little heavier, but I guess with larger feet and quality materials, weight is gained on footwear. They keep his feet dry and warm when out in WI winters- so we are happy.

I bought these 2 months ago for my 9 year old and 11 year old. We hiked through streams in the mountains and they were completely waterproof. [ I bought these for ice fishing. I needed a boot to be super warm& waterproof. Something that will still feel warm at 50mph and subzero air. These totally fit the bill. Very comfortable. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. I 'd to walk miles in them they are so comfortable, they also feel very sturdy and supportive which you 'd want in an ice fishing boot.

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

I bought a pair for my wife and 14 year old daughter. Both were a size small. My wife is a 7. 5 and I bought her the 8. My daughter is an 8 and I bought her the 8. Both were too snug. 9 was the right fit. Recommend buying a size bigger than you normally wear.
