I got these for shoveling snow, before/after skiing, walking dogs, and other winter use. They 've been very comfortable and provide good grip. Warmth seems good too, but I have n't spent hours outside in them. I wore them as I loaded/unloaded skis and luggage in- 30F temperatures, and my feet stayed warm for those 10- 15 minutes. And I 've shoveled snow in them at- 5F with no issues. As long as they last, I 'll be really happy with these.

I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability. [ Ok so first I ’ m a short girl so these are calf high so I love that! The lug sole is very thick and supportive. The inside is faux fur lined so not only is it waterproof, it ’s warm! The color is neutral and these fit true to size. If you wear thick socks, size up a half size. Otherwise your normal size will work. They have great traction so I don ’ t anticipate busting but butt in the snow. These are built to last so I ’ ll have them for all inclement weather for years.

[ I tried the Tivoli V Tall Women ’s Waterproof Boot from Sorel in the color quarry. I love the look of this boot! It ’s got style and function, which don ’ t always come together! The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I normally wear 8. 5- 9 in a shoe and the 9s are a bit snug. I don ’ t think I ’ d be able to comfortably wear a thick, winter sock with them… so size up!! Overall, a great winter boot!

I have both these boots and the equivalent lace- up model( I couldn ’ t decide, so I bought both), and I slightly prefer these. The sizing is the same and both are comfortable, but these are quicker to take on and off and I can remove them without having to sit down, which is nice since these aren ’ t “ in the house ” shoes. The ankle is a bit higher which puts a slight pressure on your shin( at least when new), but it ’s not uncomfortable and on the plus side means your ankles don ’ t get cold when the wind blows. The tread on both is great and hardly slips on ice when other people are having trouble. Both shoes are warm and overall I would say the lace- ups are better for hiking where you want the most support and don ’ t mind the extra time to put on/off, but these are better for running errands or dog walking, when the convenience of easy on/off is a bigger factor.

I just received these boots and tried them on. Great fit, out of the box. A little “ pinchy ” at the top where the fluffed collar is, but I expect this to get better during break in. My only dissatisfaction is with the zipper on the right boot. It is not seen in properly at the top, causing the zip and the leather to buckle ineard on itself a bit.

A lot of people reviewed the boots are tight by the ankle so I was skeptical when I purchased them. They were right, they are tight on the ankle so I unzipped them about 1/2 inch and they are very comfortable. The zipper stays put being a half inch unzipped even when I walked 3 miles in them.

Buy these shoes every year for our daughter. I believe this will be her 4th pair. They keep her feet warm& dry. Our temp here in the PNW doesn ’ t get too low( lowest around 20 degrees), so I can ’ t vouch for how it would do in the single digits. They fit true to size. They are a bit stiff in the ankles the 1st day of wear, but still comfy. I have the adult version& love how cozy& comfortable they are for hiking in the snow or cold rain. I buy them a half size larger than I do even my regular boots( 1/2 size up for semi- thick socks, full size up for extra thick socks) to accommodate very thick& fuzzy Columbia socks( so cozy!), but our daughter doesn ’ t like to wear super thick socks, so I buy her regular size. These boots can withstand a lot of use without showing much wear. Each year we give away her outgrown boots& they barely look used. They are somewhat heavy, but to us they just feel stable( great ankle support& solid traction for mud& snow& cushy insoles!)& not cumbersome.

He is a normal size youth 5. 5- and we ended up with a size youth 7 for these boots. We went with the all black. Quality boots and `` fuzzy '' inside like my son wanted. They are a little heavier, but I guess with larger feet and quality materials, weight is gained on footwear. They keep his feet dry and warm when out in WI winters- so we are happy.

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. It gets really tiring wearing these if you ’ re walking long distances, especially up and down hills.
