[ My son needed all new winter gear so I purchased these with his new winter coat. They are a bit spendy but the quality appears good and they should last him more than 1 winter.

[ Does n't have the baggy bro- brah fit- thankfully. Still has enough room through the bottom leg for big boots and a gusseted crotch. Simple pant but well done, really all you can ask for.

[ I really like these and wear them while fat biking the winter. Now need for a bottom layer even down to 10 degrees while on the fat bike. They are tough I have scraped them on branches and stuff with out a mark.

5 Jeff
[ I used them for a week in the Cascades, an attempt on Mount Rainier in whiteout conditions and a successful summit of Mount Hood including a glissade on the way down. They were awesome!

5 Labwalk
Bought these for my husband as he finally wore out his previous pair. Some differences made over time but overall he's pleases with them.

5 dano99664
[ I bought this pair for a backup to a pair I currently use on all my outings in the backcountry where I live. In this part of the country, it can get extreme and in the winter time, we use snowshoes most of the time because of the steep, rugged, and forested area. Flexibility for mobility is necessary for comfortable traveling conditions. The better I feel the farther I can go.

Bought these for my daughter and glad I did. She lives them. They keep her warm and fashionable at the same time!

5 KBM126
[ Love the look and feel of these ski pants. Haven ’ t worn them yet but just trying them on, definitely size up at least two sizes. They are very small. Other than that, I do like that they make sure look slimmer unlike regular ski pants that are baggy and make you look 20+lbs heavier. I ’ ve read some reviews that they ’ re not waterproof, I ’ m hoping they are waterproof but guess I ’ ll see in a few weeks when I take them on the slopes.

[ I 'm a size 00 or 24 in pants, 5' 0 '' and the size two short fit me perfectly. Boot packed and rode in Japan with these and they were perfect for dry snow and cold temps

Frequently Asked Questions For Pants To Wear Cross Country Skiing

When selecting pants for cross country skiing, it's important to look for features such as breathability, moisture-wicking properties, and insulation. Pants made from lightweight, stretchy materials allow for a full range of motion while keeping you comfortable. Additionally, consider options with wind resistance and water-repellent finishes to protect against the elements.

Insulated pants can be beneficial for cross country skiing, especially in colder temperatures. They provide added warmth without sacrificing mobility, which is crucial for this activity. However, the choice between insulated and non-insulated options depends on your personal comfort level and the climate conditions you'll be skiing in.

The best materials for cross country skiing pants typically include synthetic fabrics that offer moisture management, such as polyester or nylon blends. These materials help wick away sweat while providing durability and flexibility. Look for options that also incorporate stretch for ease of movement and comfort during your skiing sessions.

Choosing the right fit for cross country skiing pants is essential for comfort and performance. Look for pants that offer a snug but not restrictive fit, allowing for layering underneath if needed. It's also important to ensure that the pants have enough length and flexibility to accommodate your movements while skiing.

While regular outdoor pants may be suitable for some activities, they might not provide the specific features needed for cross country skiing. Look for pants designed with breathability, moisture management, and flexibility in mind. Specialized cross country skiing pants will enhance your performance and comfort on the trails.
