The assembly was more complicated than I expected( it took me an hour to get it fully out of the box and assembled), but it was worth it once I got the whole machine together. I was only able to do 2 minutes on it my first time and my thighs had a good burn going! I also felt it in my lats, shoulders, biceps, and my core a bit, just after 2 minutes on it. I like that you can adjust the resistance and the seat easily. I have n't tried the resistance band cables yet, but I 'm looking forward to it to target my inner and outer thighs like it shows in the video. This machine does n't feel like a beginner machine- I work out already, and like I said, after just 2 minutes on resistance 3, I had to take a break and my legs were burning! If you 're a beginner, you may have to work up to being able to be on it for several minutes at a time. It gets your heart pumping, too!

For the price you can not beat this little machine! Unpacking and assembly took a mere 15 minutes and I was ready to go. First time around I completed 400 rows on the 1st and then 3rd levels. Today I went up a couple of levels and broke a sweat after 15 minutes. Get this!

I love my new rower, Phantom Hydro from Sunny Health. I did so much research on something that gave you a good workout, that was sturdy and of great quality, really nice and simple. The rower was well packaged and arrived without damage. Assembly was strait forward with all parts, hardware and simple tools provided.( Note that some screws and washers are preinstalled so do n't panic when inventorying hardware.) Was pleasantly surprised at how robust the rower is. The hydraulic cylinder provides just enough resistance for the intended user( seniors). Suggest keeping rowing sessions under 20 minutes to avoid overheating the cylinder.
