They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. I recently used these in the tampa bay. The results were very good when nothing else was working, including live. They advertised as durable and that part is simply not true. These baits are very tender and do not last for more than a strike or two. Ill buy them again but rather expensive for being no tougher than they are.

I like Gulp because they are always in my box and I do n't waste an hour getting live bait. When fish are biting they are actually better than live shrimp because they stay on the hook longer and are not bitten off. You can also cast them further without them flying off like live shrimp often do. But honistly they are not quite as good as live shrimp when the bite is off, when the fishing is slow. But all in all I love these things and use them more often than live shrimp because they work most of the time and sometimes even better than live bait.

For bluegills this is one of the better baits, it ’s bio- degradable, non- perishable, has a great container, and easy to use. On top of that the bluegills in my area love it. I put this on a size 10 hook under a slip bobber and can catch a bluegill every two minutes. The only complaint I have is some maggots are curled up too much, but they can still be used. These do not come off too easy, out of 25 fish caught, only 2 baits were stolen.
