I love the pockets with zippers, which make this product similar to much more expensive branded shorts. I have not washed them yet; let's see how they last this summer. Warning that the shorts are true to size. The S is ideal for at most a 30- 31 '' waist. It would probably be best on a 29 '' I 'd say. I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.
