I 've been trying to use hats that were too small for far too long. They always gave me a headache. I finally did some research and ran across Sunday Afternoons which has some nice brimmed XL hats and I got this one. The fit is perfect and always felt secure even upwind. I bought this hat for a recent trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. It exceeded my expectations; it was simply outstanding. It is lightweight, breathable and provides significant coverage from the sun. Obviously, the equatorial sun can be brutal but this hat kept my face, neck and ears covered from the rays. I was also very pleased that the design of the hat allows for folding without causing the hat to lose its shape and become created or distorted. It is one of my all- time best purchases. Thank you!
