Most ponytail hats( with the criss cross back or tiny opening in the rear) don ’ t accommodate a bun without having to finish styling after you put the hat on. It ’s really annoying for us girls who wear our hair in buns on a daily basis or women with 3a- 4c hair. I have 1a hair down past my knees so I wear my hair in a bun everyday. I either wear a visor but on really sunny days or rainy days I want to wear a ball cap. This is my go- to. I have two black and one white. I hope they make more colors and style options in the future. I love the elastic because it doesn ’ t pull on hair like Velcro does. Other ponytail hats I must undo the Velcro to get it on and off my head and hair. I do wish the elastic was a little tighter for us girls with smaller heads. Even better have a hide away adjuster in the sweat band so we can adjust and tighten as the elastic loosens. Please make more colors and trefoil styles!

I had one for 10+ years that I wore on all kinds of adventures from hiking in the rain forests of Puerto Rico to hunting in the Rockies to river rafting to taking my dogs on walks until someone stole it out of my truck! Everyone should have an Outdoor Research Seattle Rain Hat. It is waterproof, lightweight and packable. The Fatigue/Black that I order is as shown in the picture. I do agree with another reviewer that they should bring back the adjustable headband.

Bought this hat for my summer vacation. I wish it came in more colors. I love it because the brim is not overly wide, as many hats are. I bought the soft dusty rose color. Its really pretty, but would love to have it in cream or teal too.

Stays on head. Brim does n't flip up in the wind. Provides more shade than a ball cap. I needed something like a visor, but with fabric on top, because my broad- brimmed hats hit my pack when I 'm backpacking.

I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. I hope that Sunday Afternoons keeps selling these hats forever.
