If you 're need is to do delicate footwork in steep or awkward terrain these are not the boots for you. But, if you 're spending a lot of time working outside in Wyoming in winter in snow, on ice, and in the very special kind of mud we have up here, they are stellar. I had a little break in period to soften up the ankles a little. They are warm, without heavy socks, even in sub- zero° F temps, comfy, 100% waterproof, and easy to clean. These are seriously burly well made boots.

Sizing winter boots has been quite challenging. I wear a 10. 5 medium width athletic shoe/ 44. 5 cycling shoe. I tried many brands and sizes including LL Bean, KEEN, Columbia, Muck, and a few more. Boots like this can feel stiff so I prefer thicker wool socks for added cushion and insulation. An 11. 5 was snug but not too tight( like the 11) and gave me enough wiggle room in the toe box. When I finally got outdoors with them, I found them warm and comfortable walking around for more than two hours through slush and snow on trails and streets. They are quick to slip on and lace up, quick to unlace and slip off. I am very satisfied with them.

I 'm so happy with these sneaker boots! I bought them for the winter and ended up wearing them for work shoes. I had just gotten a free pair of work shoes and within weeks I decided to wear my sorels for work. They have also become my daily shoe. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes because I have flat feet. Arches are my nemesis, however these support my arches perfectly. They may be a little narrow in the toe box for some. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and got them in the same size. They were a little snug in the fore foot, yet quickly loosened up. I got them in black and have gotten lots of compliments.

Have been wearing Targhee xx's for quite a few years. Obviously, they have worked great for me, and now my wife has a pair. I wear them year- around, on snow, ice, wet leaves, steep hillsides.... They are functionally waterproof- I wear low- profile `` walking shoes ''- not for serious stream crossing, but fine for tall wet crass ''. Only problem has been delamination and eventually leaking. So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

I walk my dog almost everyday at least a mile if not 3 or 4 and these feel great. Got these for the winter walks and visits to the park with the dog. They are very warm and comfortable( like walking on a cloud). They are a bit snug in the toe area so suggest wearing a thinner sock with them.

Excellent quality! Light weight, warm and cozy, and good looking! The lining is great for someone like me that does not like to wear socks. I have wide feet, so ordered half a size up and they are perfect. I got them on sale, which is another bonus. I bought my first black and white Kinetic boot several years ago, and they have been my go- to boot for snow and cold weather. This newer model has a wider footbed- which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. My old ones are still going strong, but when this newer model went on sale I could n't resist. I usually order my regular size 7 in Sorel boots, but, as per a previous review, I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thicker socks. These fit great and feel fantastic!

they are a good fit comfortable and do seem to be waterproof so far, I am in the farming business and my feet stay dry, only drawback is an occasional soar from a rub below my ankle but that could be a socks issue. Can not rate durability or quality as only been wearing them 2 weeks

I bought these boots for my son. Once we got the correct size( no shoe to try on in store) they were perfect. My son recently went on a winter retreat where they spent almost the entire weekend outside, sledding, horseback riding, broom ball tournament, hiking, etc. And his feet were the warmest they have ever been at this event. Should his feet continue to grow we will definitely get a replacement pair.
